They should have different stages of all the animatronics since its so big! They could have a studio C, a 3 stage, and a 2 stage/roadstage
That would be super cool! Like traveling through time as you walk through the store
They only had Chuck from a 2 stage and they had an alpha at the same time before they updated
I absolutely love this store! I really wanna go there if I go to California. Can’t believe this is one of the biggest stores in the country!
Yeah it’s super good! It’s definitely one of the best, if not the best, CECs around. There’s one near me that had a bunch of nostalgic games that I haven’t seen elsewhere so that’s high on my list. But this one has the best prizes and the best jackpots hands down!
I bet it has to be the most expensive Chuck E Cheese in the United States
I believe the standard time cards are more, but the coupons work the same. But a lot of people don’t take advantage of the deals so I’m sure CEC SJ is doing very well.
CEC could raise their jackpots across the board and it would still be fine. Most people aren’t gonna get it anyways
I’ve been here for a birthday party once when I was younger, I actually never knew that it was the biggest CEC in the US.
Yeah it’s special. I think it is the biggest. That’s what a lot of people say
Interesting how this is the only CEC with ticket payout amounts similar to regular arcades instead of other CECs.
cool walkthrough. I may have to check it out 😅
Lol 😂
Seriously though, your CEC is really good. I wouldn’t change anything.
Man great vid! You know I love the tours ;). I wonder how many two story Chuck E Cheeses there are? Can't be many. Maybe this is the only one? Surprised you didn't show off the pushers more!
This is the only one I know of.
Lol I didn’t really think of staying at the pushers for longer. I figured there’s enough of that on my channel lol
How many of them are two stories? This is the only one I know of that has two stories
@@arcade_wizard i think its only this store thats multiple floors. I might be wrong tho. Edit: Edina MN also has multiple floors
The fact that this location not only has a vr game but also FRICKING HALO. IT’S AWESOME!
Nice video!
Thanks! This was my first tour, and it was the one the inspired me to do the rest of my CEC tours
Yay thank you for this friend happy to say i actually got a ad on your video for the first time, do some arcades get upset with filming?
Awesome! Thanks for the support!
Some places do, but this place was fine. Super friendly. I haven’t had issues at Chuck E. Cheese before
Also I want to let you know that I just filmed my biggest coin pusher video to date! It should be up in a month and a half or so
I grew up in east san jose near this. we'd go after the last day of school or parties. I"ll never forget the creepy clacking the animatronics made when they moved.
That is a fabulous flagship store with three floors and was once home to the Chuck E. Cheese’s university where general manager would go to and train the third floor now is use for storage and holds several historic items there also used to be a studio C alpha stage is the phase 3 store but got the 2.0 remodel
@@arcade_wizard somebody old stage props are up there and there is a rumor floating around that the Studio C Chuck-E-Cheese is up there as well this store started off as a balcony stage
I wonder what is up there on the third floor do they let anyone up there to film with permission also WHY DID IT HAVE TO GET 2.0
This was opened in 1981. It was NOT the first CEC.. I keep seeing comments saying that and I need to get this out of my mind. The first was at 370 S Winchester BVLD. It closed in 85.
Yeah I don’t know why people keep saying that. Probably because Google says the first is in San Jose so people probably assume.
This isn’t even the oldest one that exists. Huntington Beach is older
Speaking of third floor there are murals my favorite one is the Walt Disney one
Go to the lucky snake arcade in Atlantic City. It will blow you away.
It makes sense that this mega Chuck E Cheese is in San Jose because it's where the original Chuck E. Cheese Pizza Time Theater was set up.
Eric Sander, actually the first Pizza Time Theatre was at the Town N' Country Shopping Center on Winchester, it closed in 1985.
And I'm pretty sure that Santana's Row is taking the former PTT now. Just from looking at the walls from where the portraits were
Yea
Damn this is a cool location even though this Doesn’t have the animatronics it’s still a really good location definitely if I want to go to San Francisco I gotta check out this location
Yeah! It’s the greatest in terms of tickets. The coin pushers are very cheap and they have jackpots of 250, which is a lot higher than normal. Also they have a lot of good prizes!
@@arcade_wizard I know it might be the best Chuck E. Cheese ever however it’s really far from where I live I am in Southern California however if I ever go on a trip to San Francisco definitely gotta go to this location
The reason is its so big is that t was the first Chuck E. Cheese to open!
I’ve been told that the Tully Road isn’t the first. It moved from the original location to Tully
No, the one on Winchester Bvld was and it closed in 85 and was demolished.
Northridge CA has not been updated since the early 90’s, still has animatronics
@@arcade_wizard very old school. Both the ones in west hills and northridge. Old logo still there
So many birthday parties here as a kid. One time my cousin dropped all his tokens while walking down the stairs and kids from all corners of the place robbed him lol. It was funny as hell I’m not gonna lie 😂😂
Just a question, is the one at 370 S Winchester BLVD the first location or is it the one at Olsen DR where Santana's Row is now. It all looks so similar but I'm not sure which building is exactly the first location
I believe winchester. At least, that’s what I said in my 10 minutes of chuck e cheese facts video lol
also another question 1 month later, is there a building or something replacing the Winchester building? Like, a parking lot, or some sort of building over the PTT?
Good history fact this was made the same year that the first Chuck E. Cheese Location was opened
I did 10 minutes of chuck e cheese facts. I mentioned something about the opening year
they just recently added the dance floor to the area where the show used to be.
omg i used to work there haha
Have been there since I was a kid. Now I wanna go. Is that sponge bob and other coin pushers worth it?
This is the best Chuck E Cheese ever! It is a legitimate arcade with good jackpots and prizes. I would actually say this is one of the best arcades overall
Hey is there any animatronics left there? I haven't been to that one yet and is just wondering if there is any so i can check it out :)
There is none left this location had the most animatronics back in the 80s and early 90s on both floors
sadly it got the 2.0 "upgrade" which involved removing the animatronics. Really sad since this was the very first location and they remove the biggest staple of the place.
Do they have the classic chuck e cheese logo
I did a more recent San Jose tour in more detail: ua-cam.com/video/disxmA5uJPs/v-deo.html
wow is this the first location of pizza time theatre?its really been upgraded
i figured it out now its not the first location the first location is gone but its still pretty big!
Great location have been here before this actually has a third story for employees only and has also been open since the 80s
You should go to tacoma washington's chuck e cheese it's 2.0 now
I went here
Talk about #Grooming them young...
Now I understand why grown ups/adults like the #Casinos so damn much!!
Lol yeah, arcades are like casinos for young people. Some games have an element of skill though
Not sure if anyone told you, but this location has been around since 1977
Not sure if I knew the year, but I knew it had been around for a while. Thanks!
I want to go back and do another tour and not focus on the games
I heard they have a phase 3 pasqually googly eye poster in the kitchen.

Seen at 0:14
Its a miracle they didnt take it down lol
That's my job I work there .
I used to like this location before they removed all the animatronics
I’ve only been here a couple times so I can’t really critique that but I can say this is one of the best arcades I’ve ever been to
The third floor is haunted. At least that's been the urban legend we've known since we were kids.
@@arcade_wizard I grew up going to this location. My step mother used to work here back in the early 90s right after HS. She herd the same rumors too. There's been tons of stories of paranormal activity on the third floor. I remember seeing the stairway to the third floor as a kid but it was always blocked off with caution tape. It didn't even seem like employees were allowed up there.
@@arcade_wizard supposedly a little girl died up there, fell over a railing. You can actually Google search this urban legend/myth and find thing about this
wish they had chuck e cheese in canada
They don’t?! That’s a bummer. Most of them aren’t like this. I did a video tour of this because of how special it is. Most others are fairly small
@@arcade_wizard actually they do about 10 locations search it up

San Jose and Huntington Beach are the oldest Chuck E. Cheese
Not sure of the exact date but I believe the one on winchester closed a while ago
the world't biggest chuck e cheese's is actually in saudi arabia. I don't know if it's still open though.
Oh I know. This is the biggest in USA. And the manager told me it’s better than the one in SA. They might have been biased lol
Lol didn’t mean to sound rude. But yeah many people do call this the biggest in the world.
Do you know what the one in SA is like?
@@arcade_wizard hi! sorry for responding late! I don't know what the one in SA is like, but I've seen pictures of the exterior and interior and it looks pretty cool.
I think this is also the first Chuck E. Cheese ever.
The first was in san jose but they relocated to this one I think.
The oldest one to be in the same building is in Huntington Beach, from what I’ve been told
The original Pizza Time Theater was on South Winchester Boulevard. This is on Fontaine off of Tully
@@arcade_wizard I know but I think this is one of the first ones to be.
Definitely one of the earlier ones. Either Huntington Beach or this one, depending on how you look at it
Sad this store got 2.0.
@@arcade_wizard It had an animatronic show and some pretty cool large posters, nothing much was GREAT about it though. Personally, since this store was big, it looked hard to put stuff in and make it feel good. 2.0 pretty much improved it!
@@ParkKoaster it had the most animatronics back in its day on both floors
This is the first chuck e cheese ever made, and the only one with 2 floors of games. There is a third floor, but it is off limits. I grew up going to this one.
Sorta. The first one was also in SJ but they moved it here. My understanding is that the oldest in the same location is Huntington Beach
I live like 15 minute away from there
I used to go to this one growing up as well. I've seen the stairway to the third floor but it was blocked off. As kids we believed the third floor was haunted. My step mother worked at this chick e cheese after HS back in the early 90s and herd rumors and stories about the third floor as well.
This location opened in 1982, the first one was in Winchester, San Jose, however they closed in 1984 or 85 due to PTT’s bankruptcy. This location is the 84th one.
Thank you! Huntington Beach is the oldest one that is currently open
