I was pretty impressed with mine. There are definitely better options available if you want to spend 10x the amount. For $50 it really doesn’t get much better in my opinion.
Black Matte is difficult to see, if your sitting at a light at night and your tail light bulb burns out, or breaker/fuse trips, you’re practically invisible, if this is what you’re going for, just be aware that no one can see your bike clearly when there’s light pollution from oncoming traffic, street lights, commercial plazas illuminated signs, or morning eastbound/evening westbound sun glare blazing into their faces through dirty nicotine film coated kids fingerprint covered fogged up windshields, forget it, you don’t exist in the visible spectrum, chrome fixes this by blinging beams of diffracted sunshine or headlight illumination indicating your physical presence to the visible realm!
I got this same one but it’s terrible for night time riding

No. It’s plug N play.

You should have marked the top of the og beam on the garage door and adjusted your new beam to match. Now your beam is way too high.

Good thing taillight lenses are still reflective without being illuminated.
