I don't think that car logos are actually ads because they simply don't work as them in 99% of the situations. I mean imagine seeing a car (just ordinary car, not Ferrari or something) and thinking "Oh my God I want this car!" - feels strange, right?

I think a test would be better if it was just the adverts you'd actually look at as opposed to counting every single ad you can see on your route. You wouldn't normally 'see' every single one of those adverts. I'm sure it'll still be a large amount but not as many.

Brilliant experiment and also really great video realizzation of it. Appreciated the determination you kept in doing this 🥷. Sounds like a lot and a bit scary too thinking we're not concious at all of this happenimg to us everyday.
But i wanna say im not sure i would have counted ALL cars i see during a day (because often you cant focus on a car so much you actually notice the brand/model), and because thinking this way everything with a bit of product design has to count as ad. Even phones, headphone, general accessories wear by other influence your desires. Not to count all shoes/tshirts/things other people bring with them outside with logos).
Just my opinion of course
