This is a really good low-budget costume production with decent actors and a very intense and kind of intriguing storyline. It has an “Unchained Love”-vibe but not quite the quality. Character wise this must be the worst Emperor I’ve seen so far. A real beast. On the other hand, FL must be one of the weakest I’ve seen. Other than that, I was entertained and enjoyed the production. SYNOPSIS - SPOILER ALERT!!! FL is a Princess that is threatened with the torture and killing of her brother to become the Emperor’s woman. Luckily, the Governor (ML), a powerful Eunuch, arrives in time to stop the Emperor’s assault. The Emperor demands that she comes to him later and when she doesn’t, because she visits her sick father, he is furious and issues an edict, framing her bedridden father of treason. FL prevents the eunuchs sent by him from giving her father the poisonous wine and tells them to let the Emperor know that she will come to him 3 days later. Desperate to find a way to avoid becoming the Emperor’s concubine, she turns to the Governor who seems to be the only one able to protect her and her family from the Emperor. But when he takes out the “toys” needed since he is a Eunuch, FL freezes and is thrown out of his mansion. But after getting the edict to marry the Emperor and hear that he refuses to let the doctors treat her father before she enters the Harem, she returns to become ML’s woman. But he rejects her, perhaps, to protect his secret of being a fake Eunuch. So, she enters the Palace in her wedding dress as ordered by the Emperor and awaits an opportunity to kill the Emperor and then commit suicide. When her veil is lifted, it turns out to be ML standing there. He feeds her some pill that later turns out to be a poison that develops a rash, so when the Emperor sees that, he sends her to the only place where it can be cured with medical baths - ML’s residence in the north. Teaming up with ML might have FL biting off more than she can chew. This mysterious man has many secrets to hide and tricks up his sleeves. Soon, FL is entangled with ML and playing a dangerous game of hide and seek with the Emperor - while something entirely different is brewing in the shadows. Well, this has a happy ending.

I'm 1 hr 19 min and I am not seeing sweet, I am seeing Stockholm Syndrome. I am quitting and wondering what all the other reviews are talking about. ?? Aside from my opinion, several of the bits are unsubtitled so you don't know what's going on. Some pretty costumes, mostly in that they are flowey or have long trains.
