Hey Guys, I’m Alex Etches and I’m a golf professional and product reviewer. If you don’t know me, I started playing golf at 10 years old, turned professional at 22 in the UK, and have been creating entertaining and informative golf content on different platforms for the last 10 years. What impresses me the most about the 225 is there’s nothing added in the hollow body like all the other ones and yet it sounds and feels better the other hollow body irons .
Course 225 - this is the one I want. Love to see you take it up against the P790.
Course 225, considering changing my 2019 P790's , I am looking at the 2021 P790 but I will definitely be wanting to try these, would love to see a head to head between the two sets

Tried both these and the P790 (which I loved) and ordered these with Recoil graphite shafts - I can not tell you how smooth, buttery and soft they feel, truly incredible.
What did you decide on?
Course 225! I just bought mine today! Hopefully get them soon! They are so nice. Really felt good. I tried so many irons and shafts. These were the clear winner.
Have you got them yet? If you have, How are they ?
@@deadlymantis4210 i wish. They initially said 4 weeks. They were hit with a cyber attack. Slowed them down for 2.5 weeks.
Now they said 5-6 weeks last week.
Smh. Very disapointing.

@@sogoodgolf same here. Going on my 11th week but they are expect to arrive next week. I've changed my swing 3x since I got fitted for these😂

Head to head with T-200’s please ! I have the 2019 T-200’s which are ultra forgiving and feel fantastic when you hit them in the sweet spot, but are very clunky on off-center hits
Went for a fitting today and these stood head and shoulders above the rest. As soon as I hit it in the first round of testing out of 10 other irons. I knew it was a mizuno. I did a blind test, not knowing what I was hitting and have always played mizuno. Quite happy to find something different if it helped me. Nothing feels like a mizuno is right. Other irons just don't come close.
So much respect for the editing there on the putting club down bit. Best content and fun golf reviews on the tube. 223 v 225 please.
I've got a 225 and 223 combo set. 225 in the longer irons and 223 in shorter irons. Love it
Course 225. Interesting that there is a GW also. I have the ‘old’ HMB’s 3-PW. Was going to blend but love them all so went complete set. Nice review, thanks.

Just brought these yesterday. Tried so many clubs. Was these or P790s and just like the look and feel of these. 6 to 8 week wait though, can't wait.

223 or 221 in 8/9/ PW and 225 5 /6/ 7 with loft adjusted for gapping. Best of both worlds to max consistency feel and looks with my T20 wedges.
Course 225....picked up the 921 Hot Metals 18 months ago and I'm considering making the change. just a spectacular looking set.
It is commonly assumed that forgiveness and "workability" move in opposite directions, and while you can look to data to test forgiveness on off center strikes, you rarely see workability or shot shaping actually tested. Very happy to see you include it.
I would like to see a head-to-head comparison of the Mizuno Pro 225 and the JPX921 Hot Metal Pro.
I was praying that the ball would go into the hole big Al. Unfortunately, a smaller club face wouldn’t help me since finding the center of the club isn’t my bag. I do love Brenda, Barbra and Aqua Amy. Love ya brother!

Course 225 - tested these out last night and absolutely LOVED them. I currently game the JPX-900 Forged, and the 225s felt a little bit like a softer version of those.

@@goutfromfriedokra7099 I tested the 921s vs the HMBs last year (with my specs for lie angle) and the 921s worked better for me. I will have to try the 921s head-to-head vs the 225s (with my specs) and figure that one out. Without the lie angles dialed in on the 225s, I'd say they were neck and neck.

Yeah I want to try these, but I'd like to see you use the shorter irons as well as the longer ones on the course.
Course 225. These are right at the top of my want list! EDIT: now had a fitting and just waiting their arrival.
I’d like to see these go head to head with the Miura PI-401s. They appear to have the same lofts as the 225s. I was shocked to discover the 401s have as much feel as my MC-501s but they are a bit more forgiving and are lofted about a club stronger (i.e., the 6-iron in the 501 and the 7-iron in the 401 are both 30 degrees). I may very well wind up combining them even if it means two 7 or 8-irons due to the loft differences.
I'm interested in the 223s the most. I don't want that much extra distance but I do want the extra forgiveness. I currently play the MP-54s
Course 225, brought the JPX HM Pro’s earlier in the year, and I love them, but wish I had waited to try these. They look lovely .

Course 225. Not sure why they made the lofts so different between the three. Would love to have blended the 221 with the 225 but now I'd have to bend them and 4° loft means a lot of characteristics would change in the bend.

@@Clubber_Lang when they are struck well, they are great, the ball flight is lower than I was expecting tbh. My problem is that since the fitting, I've injured my right knee, so can't get through the ball as well as I could, so my swing is not as good as it could be, not the clubs fault though. At the fitting I was striking the ball well, so really gutted atm.
@@Clubber_Lang bottom line is that as soon as I get my swing going again, i'm sure that they will be a massive improvement over my last club's

When did u order and what was your clubs eta? I ordered mines on the 24th and they said 6-8 weeks :/

Spin is pretty low and not sure who these are aimed at because your better getting the 923 or 921 forged if your not going blades.
