Name the three tricks I break down in this video!! Out side of “stick toss” I didn’t have names for the other two.
Stav twirl
Hey. Guys check the link here. Luke holland stick tricks groove.
Let me know if you like this.
ua-cam.com/video/A4jS2KV0kig/v-deo.html
Just like snow/skateboard trick names. First is "Backside spin" and the second is something like "Backside spin revert cut", unknown trick) check my 40 variations of stick tricks video!
The between the fingers I would call simply "finger roll".. or actually what was that thing called when we were kids, where you held the thing in your hand and the little ball thing rolled back and forth along the little rail? It's like that but I cant remember what that was called to modify the name lol
Man I wish when I was young I had utube and a great drummer to watch...you've got really cool videos. ...and that's coming from a 60 yr old guy....
The stick tricks add so much to the visual appearance. Accompanied with the speed and power of your drumming, it's like a viking during war.
Loved this video! I’ll be working slowly at this and can’t wait to incorporate as I get better at drums! Thanks for the great video!
Currently working on the stick toss exercise. Getting to toss and catch both sticks at the same time is my goal. Keep it up! Thanks for sharing!
Thankyou soooo much for sharing and breaking them down so clearly Wyatt!
That’ll keep me busy for months! Lol!
My god you’re so good at stick tricks!
Thanks for sharing Wyatt!
Well done! Thanks for posting that.
Respect and many thanks 🙏
U have inspired me to start playing again, well as soon as i can afford a kit anyways but for now i am learning from u non stop...your my luke holland now wyatt!
Wow bro. This was amazing. Actually str8 fire. Smooth smooth
Man finally a decent stick trick lesson!! I've gotta say you are for me the best all round drummer on youtube with all what you know n play...💪👌
Thank you 🙏🏽
This is great 👍🏽
You are a great inspiration... 😊
I am very helpful after seeing this stuffs, Thank you very much sir. 🙏
I've been watching your videos for a while now, and the fact that you are ambidextrous makes everything you do so hard to figure out HAHA. Love your work so far though
Flip diddle, lol that's awesome, so good
One of the most passionate people I know here on YT. Thanks a lot for this vid! 😄👍🏻
Jaynee Grooves thank you so much! I appreciate you checking out my content and leaving such and awesome comment!
Bro thank you so much!!! This helped big-time!
So stoked to finally see this! I struggle so bad doing tricks and losing my time.
I always use my middle and index finger and just rotate my wrist(?) I think lol
Bravissimo!!!
COOL video. Thanks bro !
🤟
Oh hey you’re the guy I watch for dance Gavin dance. Love your drumming, you’ve taught me a lot on the drums ^^
I was watching one of your videos last night and was thinking about asking you about this. Guess I didn’t need to. Love the tricks though. Very effective.
call that second one the helicopter
oh word. right on.
Wyatt Stav haha, yeh, great skills man, love your covers!
Just started watching your videos. 👍. I'm a drummer myself and it never hurts to learn new stuff. Great videos Wyatt Stav
Same dude, one thing I've learned in my time playing is no matter how good our playing is, we can ALWAYS learn more to add to our playing styles 🤘🏻
@@kylejones5376 Absolutely 🤘
Ive been waiting for this video thanks mam! 💓
Kym3l no problem :) I hope it helps!
Thanks Wyatt ✌️🤜🤛
I hope it helped!! :)
Love your vids. Keep it up👍
Thank you! Will do!! :)
Hey nice been waiting for this video! Nice man!
thanks man! glad you enjoyed!
Sick video dude!! Will practise and show it off to people when i am drumming😄 you are a motivation to me, you made me join a band and now i am enjoying with my mates, covering songs to let people hear in my school 😄😂
Lucas Low makes me real happy to hear all that, thanks man and I hope this video helps! :)
Definitely going to learn these before I even touch a drum set. Lol.
Yooo this is what we've been waiting for. haha!
Jahan Ghadami awesome! I hope you enjoyed!
Super tight man. Love stick tricks haha
Connor Allen hell ya :)
First fuck yeah lol love the vids man you got me into doing them when i play..... the tricks are sick my dude thanks for taking the time to make this 👍👍👍
Show dmais man😍😍😍
The second trickshould be called The Metalcopter!
I can already do the first, but I can't do the second, I didn't understand how to do it but now I'm working on the third and I'm determined to do it
I do Palm Mute Spin, Helicopter & Walking.
Great job avoiding the mic-stand with the stick-toss!
I think you should do a double-bass pedal video. My face is sore from trying all these tricks...
Edward Scissorhands with the tutorial here. Show some life in the face man! Lol
I’m not a drummer but very informal and awesome bro!!🤘🏼🤘🏼
The Toecutter thank you!! :)
Be a drummer .
I'm from indonesia and i'm like it so much all of your drum cover of asking alexandria ,,,
Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed my videos!
I would call it baton-ing
I do these at work with pens. Yeah.....I know it's naff but as a frustrated drummer (I 'play' guitar) and a guy that would rather be playing (or rather practicing to play) music than working......I find it therapeutic. How this channel isn't above 100K is beyond me.
Ya fuck work... haha for real!!! ALSO THANK YOU ! :)
Can you cover the HANSHA BY OCEAN ATE ALASKA.? and please have a lesson on it my friend thank you.
How much time a day do you recommend to practice this?
But have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
I bit my tongue really hard once?
Wyatt Stav touche.
Are you playing the guitar? And by the way where are you buying your metal merchandise?
How long does it take to practice like you do?
Sweet stick work. Seems to be a lot of stick trick haters out there . I think it adds a lot to the performance, and can only increase you overall skills. I hope you don't mind, I think of you as" the stave" because of your mad stick skills.
I think the 2nd one is known as Helix Spin, and the 3rd is ironically called Knuckle Bruiser.
Jacob Isenberg oh no way!! :O those names are so fancy haha
Dude, make a drum lesson for “a lesson never learned”.
My god practicing stick tricks is dangerous.. they fly all over the place as your learning lol I cant get the pinky in on the one spin between the fingers. I can spin it through 3 middle fingers now I have to add the pinky practice with my horrible left hand lol
The 2nd spin is called "helicopter spin"
You damn f***ing badass❤😁
As a drummer I find it hardest not to do these constantly, it’s like it almost becomes a nervous tick or something... eventually you start asking yourself, well shit could I even stop doing these during a song, even I tried?
i am in drums lessons i have to learn from you heavy metal in my blood i am big fans of heavy metal
Perfect my man. :D I'll do my best to teach you my ways ;)
I woul call the second one " the flippy shit"
thanks! you totally sound like chris d'elia
Dominic Sanchez haha I have actually gotten that before. I think the hair helps ;)
Do you have those muscles because of drumming or are you working out? (Sry but it just interrests me xD)
Philipp Schauerte I work out about 6 days a week most weeks :) you can’t get “big” by drumming. Although I’m sure you can develop some definition from drumming!
Land stick every trick?
Please do Ivy (Doomsday) by The Amity Affliction
T om I’ll have a listen and possibly add it to my list :)
This hurts my brain lol. It takes quite some limb independance actually.
* watch him twirl those sticks easily and feels motivated *
Me: ok i think i could do those tricks.
Me:*tries to twirl the stick on my hand* * stick falls *
ffuck this sh- ok lets try again.
Me: * after the 100000000th fallen stick and trial times *
these drum sticks can just burn in hell.
i can spin it thru all 4 fingers but For the life of me i cant figure out how to do it thru 3
Thumbs up even before the video begins ಠ益ಠ
Dan you are too kind :D
Land Stick Every Trick
I think the last one should be called the gambler. its something you see people do with poker chips and coins. so why not borrow the name
Adam Gray?
hes a beast.
I saw Blink-182 live, that meant Travis Barker live!
Can you make a drum beat to Korean pop. I always think stepping out of your comfort zone will help you be a better musician. What you think?
greekosdarkness ugh ya I can try that sure!
Wyatt Stav I'll make a couple suggestions, bts-not today momoland-baam or if you want a challenge try bts-mic drop. You will get many many views and more subscribers brother.
practiced, stick slip my hand, fell right on my phone screen... Be sure to have your phone secure just in case.
2nd one would be a twirl
eminem with long hair...
Ghostemane play drum
Check out SDJMalik yall
You look like ghostemane
Maybe a closer view with slower explanation could works better dude ...
Tricks are for kids... Naa, when done in moderation its cool. But when overdone.... Not so much! The" look what I can do" aspect becomes revolting.
this is fucking impossible
Bro that was a horrible explanation...lol
I was watching one of your videos last night and was thinking about asking you about this. Guess I didn’t need to. Love the tricks though. Very effective.
