I remember a local guy in my area did the same thing, was clearing un marked land..... the land owner next to where he was working ended up taking him to court because he took out a bunch of trees that were not on that property , it cost him $200. per tree, and he took out several hundred....yikes!....you did the right thing bud....way to keep your eyes open 😁
I agree 100 percent with what you did. It's not worth taking the risk of getting over onto someone else's property. I'm pretty sure they can hold you liable if you take down their trees. I've had people try and persuade me to dig on their property without calling in for a utility location. Stuff like that can get expensive if you screw up. You did the right thing. Glad to see you back, be safe.
Man you had me concerned with that title and comments for a bit. Plus I haven't seen a video in a couple of weeks. Glad you're still around and everything is A okay. I'll be keeping my eyes open for the next one 👍😃
Another good video, thanks for for your honest feedback on things. I'm sure others agree you make the right call. Huge property. Respect others property is top notch. Salute that for sure. Have a good one. Look forward to another video with massive truck moving material !!
So I’m watching ya evolve as a businessman and content creator and ya must be doing it right. 7000+ viewers and yer working steady. Nicely done my friend.
Great to see you Lindsey! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I never get bored watching you clear property Lindsey! I’d love to be able to get an excavator for clearing land! But I’m an old dude and it’s a little much for me, but driving the haul truck would be awesome!
Yeah I thought you were getting rid of that big ol dump truck…. Glad to see you on the excavator and that rocking’ soundtrack. As for that job you did the right thing. Not worth the trouble. Keep it up!
Glad to see you weather is getting better. As far back in the land you were, with no markers or cooperation from the owner. I'd leave quick before you start hear the banjos playing. Another good video my Mississippi Brother 👍
I like watching 👀 the excavator work on clearing and beaver 🦫 dams, fixing ponds or clearing around them my favorite though is tracken through the muk to get to beaver dam running a big mulcher on excavator doing some clearing 😊
Good to see you back at it. The landowner doesn't seem to want to help you much now, he sure won't want to help you later when the lawsuits start later. I would have walked also. Anyway I think you made the right call. Thanks for the video brother.
@@smithworx1091 I have been leaving comments on your videos since you started the channel and you have replied to every one of them, thank you for being a good person and caring about your viewers.
I work w/ land and land owners on a daily basis and though I do like Landglide, I only use it to get a rough idea of land shape/size and who owns it. I'd never trust any of the apps for accurate land borders. Hell I've seen way to many county websites that have inaccurate mapping. Good call to demand better marking. Also, don't worry if you think content will be boring, if it is people will just skip ahead. Letsdig18 has made a lot of money posting videos that are just his daily excavator work. People will watch.
You made the right call. Those apps are a great tool, but they are not a land survey. We see errors in them pretty regularly. Unfortunately a lot of ppl aren’t neighborly these days. And most people don’t like change. We see this all the time with raw land. Having a good survey plat and lines / corners marked is always the best route to go. Hope all is well buddy long time no talk.
Man that property would make a badass motocross track, freaking awesome, I don't blame you for leaving that job, I would too, especially clearing an then accidentally clear someones else's property, then someone is gonna want money for the clearing, to much of a liability, thanks for sharing bro, good to see ya again, 🇺🇲💪✊👌🤙🌲 Man I wanna see your off-road truck hauling too, gonna be awesome
The property owner could sell dirt from one hill and pay for the whole piece of property and that wouldn’t hurt the value of the property! And that’s not even the whole hill of building pad material! Just the trail you came in on, cut the material off of that would improve the property and make some money for the cost of the property! Some people don’t know when they have a gold mine, dirt is expensive these days! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Does UA-cam go out and find the projects that you work on or do you have to go out and find the project and does UA-cam pay you for being on there channel and working for them
I don't work for UA-cam. I make a little bit of money per views. But it's nothing to brag about. All this stuff you see is my own business I've started from nothing.
I was getting worried, I thought you had changed something in the work plans and sold the dump truck... luckily that wasn't the case!! 😂😂😂 For the rest you just made your choice, if you didn't feel comfortable you were right to leave, you wouldn't have done a good job and you wouldn't have left a good image of yourself. Then you would have felt bad and you would have carried a burden for nothing, better to take a step back when there is time! ❤❤
@@smithworx1091 I'm still healing from this surgery. Doctor said 2 months before I can do physical therapy. It's going to be a year or so before this all heals up. I was hoping I would be able to go fishing this month but that's not going to happen. LoL
