The portal on top on the hill on the north end of tier 3 has the VR11, Mags of Holding, Blood Burner key. That’s the season 2 portal.

They made the old aether much harder compare how it used to be. But it is fun.
That's cool, but i would like to see a video not only covering what to do in these dark aethers, but which portal is the portal that gives which schematics. And what is needed for that portal. I all ready have several schematics unlocked, but i just got lucky and joined other groups doing these.....had zero clue what was going on! I still need a good many schematics, just don't understand which portal is which and for what. I'm also not alone....ive joined several groups asking, which portal is for VR11, which portal and how for mags of holding and ppl say they don't know either.
You have to do the three "Elder" Dark Aether's for the schematics and Red Worm. You need the circle sigil for each DE season portal and to open each you have to finish each story mission. That said, there are basic schematics in the game by running contracts too.
@whitedobie I've finished all the act missions......here's an example....just tonight we (teammates) finished the elder dark aether that you have to turn the mirror, boxing gloves, target etc etc gold to activate the portal. Well, we didn't do that dark aether that game, we unlocked it and exfil, went into some other games trying to get our other teammates caught up. We came back several games later and did that portal....but we did the elder side! The only schematic we got was blood runner? In videos (several), I've seen ppl getting the VR11 schematics. I'm guessing that's from doing the regular side??? But stuff like that......Is some stuff on the regular side, not the elder side? which do you farm for which? are some guaranteed or not? That would be good content! Not having to watch 20 didn't vids and piece things together! Because there are a lot of players (surprisingly) still trying to figure this thing out.

Thx for showing that it is possible. BUT, I think the message here is there is no scaling according to the # of players, so if we play solo and are "average" players, there's no way to "have fun" (trust me I try). Meaning we are almost guaranteed to get completely overwhelmed and die/fail objectives in the dark aether after season adjustments, even with max gear. There's way too much going on, there's no way to enjoy the game even if objectives are "doable". Way too many visual effects, way too much spawning. I guess they want to discourage solo players in zombies. Now with DNA strands glowing all over (even worse in a PND contract zone), it's getting ridiculous, like close your eyes and spray n' pray.
Who cares at this point. Dan's just posting for $$$'s, again.
