I was 7yrs old at this time and loved watching this show with my mom on some mornings
I miss both the 1980s and the 1990s!!
oh that rod! that little making a list act was gold!
The addition of Kathleen Bradley was perfect. Not only she was the very first African-American model on the show, she solidified the classic lineup of herself, Janice, Dian, and Holly.
My very first Christmas! I was 6 months old when this episode aired! My first words beside Momma and Papa were Come On Down! I am a lifelong fan of Bob Barker!
Rod Roddy always had class. R.I.P. Rod.
I know right I loved him he was so funny XD
@@EmperessOfKindness1629 I really wish Rod could have retired with Bob..Cancer forced him to step aside before he was ready.
And Bob Barker
22:47 a better choice couldn't have been made. I was so in love with Kathleen Bradley when I was little!!!!! I used to love staying home from school or daycare & watch The Price is Right with my mom.
I remember watching this during my Christmas break from preschool right around the time I was about to turn 5 years of age.
I used to watch this shows in the 90s. When I was little my babysitter watched it every day mon-fri
wjpalmar same with mine and I watched it with her. I always wanted to be on the show.
i tried a few years ago to be on the show but i was too late i was given a standby # for the taping i had a ticket to but by the time they figured out the crowd once everyone was in i was turned away because they were full i'm going to try again sometime
I miss the 90's!
Me too. The 1990s was awesome.
Sure was!!
And it was on KCBS here in Los Angeles.
Even today, I still watch TPIR on KCBS.
Vahan Nisanian fellow los angeleno, and a loyal friend in true!
And on WCBS-TV (channel 2) here in New York City.
WKMG 6 here in Orlando
I’m shock this came on GSN. I thought this was from the Original CBS Broadcast. I’m guess back in the day, GSN had the rights to episodes of TPIR from 1972 until at least 1992.
I remember actually seeing this when I was just three years old.
Thank you Nick.
A Christmas tree made in the USA (at least, an artificial one)? That's something you don't see today. :D
Probably my favorite part about this show is how Christmas songs replaced the usual music cues. It's a shame it hasn't been done in other Christmastime episodes.
That’s what I remember these Christmas songs used as music cues for example “Sleigh Ride” by Arthur Fiedler & the Boston Pops, or Leroy Anderson. Since they got sued for copyright infringement, it was replaced by standard cues instead.
Classic xmas T.P.I.R. episode...with bob barker..🙂😀👍❤❤❤👏👏👏🐐🌠super Pathfinder Winner!!!👏👏👏
RIP Rod Roddy
And now Bob Barker
Damn, I was 5 at this time.
31:54, tell me I'm not imagining that dimming of the lights. :/
31:03 - Do you realize that we had thrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrree winners in a row? And our thrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrree winners will be back to spin the big wheel.
Anytime.
