Nice to see this works. I am curious to see how the launchpad works with other midi functions like controlling track volume and effects in performance mode.
I have a problem with mine, when I'm trying to live drumming with my sp404 mk2 the polyend wont insert the midi notes on time sometimes it wont even take the note and idk why maybe there is somethng in the midi settings that missed. Any help please ? Thx
Seems overly complicated -the Mini has midi over usb (can connect phone outputting midi this way), so you could have just got a usb a to usb c adaptor rather than the midi box?
I’ve tried and the Mini won’t power launchpad. If the launchpad had an internal battery or alternate power source, potentially. You may be able work around this with a powered usb hub. I don’t have one atm to try. But then again, more cable spaghetti. The perfect / cleanest controller in my mind would have an internal battery with ideally midi out. Still on the hunt for that lol. Best I’ve found is a novation circuit, with a bonus synth.
The other thing is the fact that you might as well get a full size tracker if you are going to do this. These two together is almost exact same size as a full size tracker. I would just sell the mini and get a tracker.
They should have added Bluetooth to this Tracker
Nice! You can go straight USB-C to USB-C on the polyend, as it does MIDI over USB.

U need a converter of midi a to midi b

I use a Roland Aira S-1 as a portable battery powered controller, with the added benefit of it being a synth, too@ @@jibbs1234
