Can you believe that the Tundra comes with zero recovery points?
Neither could we, so installed these recovery hooks from AFE.
Easy and quick install, just unbolt your sway bar brackets and put these in its place. Now you're ready to hook up and pull! Or be pulled...

Phenomenal video. Extremely detailed. Made my install super easy. That angle where you show that metal part being bent. *Chefs kiss*

@yotaxpedition What type of torque wrench are you using?

I have these exact tow hooks on my 23 Tundra SR, this is a must have for Tundra Owners, for hardcore wheeling, they may pose a bit of a challenge to get to, especially if you have to wade in some boot-filling water, otherwise I can't wait to try mine out!

AFE says these aren’t compatible with the TRD lift due to the sway bar spacers. Could you just use a longer bolt?

I suspect if Toyota thought the sway bar anchor points were strong enough for recovery hooks they would have put them there. I'm no engineer but the AFE recovery hooks are more for looks than actual function IMHO. If you were truly stuck I would not want to do a serious recovery pull on those hooks where they are anchored. 2 small bolts to hold on recovery hook at the end of the frame on a 6000lb truck, that's not going to end well. Could you imagine the repair costs if the frame was bent or the recovery hook was ripped out of it's location!
