Cate, definitely the dark green! I think it pairs well with the little reindeer on the countertop. A more “outdoorsy” look. The tiny house is looking great!
Hi Cate! I love your tiny house! I don’t t think I could ever downsize as much as you did lol. I like both shower curtains, but I really like the dark green one. I think it adds the warmth to the space that you are going for. Have a wonderful holiday
Hi Sandra! Yes, we did an EXTREME downsize, for sure! Going as minimal as we have isn't for everyone, and that's perfectly okay. The dark green seems to be the one that everyone is drawn to. Have the happiest of holidays! 💗
I'm late to my opinion counting, but I like the green one. They're both nice, so I think which ever one you chose will be perfect. I'd like to say good job on you raising 2 patriots who are serving our country. And congrats on them making the sacrifice to serve. I will keep them in my thoughts and prayers. Your tiny home is darling.
Cate, my son just left for Navy Boot Camp this past Sunday. It's not easy. I worry about him constantly. I pray for him several times a day. Let me tell you, the boy left the house with all his stuff everywhere....and I'm concerned. My husband and I watched what he was in for on You Tube, and he is going to be in for a world of hurt. I love your home. Still trying to get my husband on the tiny home train. I wish you the best. Take care. I know you are going to have a great time when your boys come home.
Look great. Dark green certainly looks more colourful..and breaks the white ...your tiny home is beautiful....well done I will one day... hopefully have one ...or it's on my bucket list...
Thank you, June. Your words are lovely. I hope you get your tiny house. Mine was a dream once upon a time, too. It's definitely something that is achievable.
Hi Janet! Thanks for your thoughts on the shower curtain. They seem pretty unanimous so far. I hope you and your family have a grat Christmas as well. Merry Christmas! ❤
Hey Cate, glad everything is working out. I have been waiting to see you again. Like you, I love both shower curtains. You'll have done a beautiful job moving forward. Peace and Love
Hello Cate ... Definitely the dark green....it has more pop...Cate your staircase going into your room ...they look steep....do you have to crawl in...Your home is beautiful ....Merry Christmas 🎄..Tell your sons Thank you for serving Our Country
Hi! Aren't you kind? I'll pass along your thanks to the guys when they get home over the next week for a break. Yes, the stairs going up to the loft are quite steep. And we do have to crawl in. At first, we weren't sure if we would like that, but it really hasn't been a problem at all. Merry Christmas! ❤
White because the edges are softened and not such a stark contrast. I would put about 3 picks (like in loft windows) on curtain rings that would allow a small touch of red, brown, etc.
I vote for the more white with green trees shower curtain cause your decorations are classy and subtle and bright…and that one ties in with the entire home…I think you will find the dark green too dark if you have it up for an entire month…but it’s still lovely too.
Great video; enjoyed your comments about a more simplified life. I am in a regular house and have an adult daughter in a wheelchair so need more space but the same organizational principles apply…..thanks for your inspiration. Definitely the “ full on” green shower curtain. 🥰
Thank you, Grace! Yes, no matter the size of the house, we can all live with more simplicity. It feels great to live with organization and the things that bring us use and joy!
Nice to see you don't have shower doors. I would opt-out for them as well. I like my fabric liner that I can put in the washing machine. No shower doors to scrub and they take up much needed space when opening and closing.
Hi Cate! I’m brand new to your videos and found it by accident! I live in a 180sqft tiny house and decorating for Christmas is a whole different thing in this small a space. I got a nice looking table top tree last year and picked out my very favorite ornaments. I don’t even miss the others that I’ve had for 55 years. It’s a fun challenge to make it Chrismassy but not to overdo. I get fresh greens for free at Home Depot and poke them around a few special decorations. The little lights make my tiny feel so cozy. A favorite thing to do also is to put the UA-cam Christmas fireplace on tv. I live in florida so I don’t need real heat. I love my tiny house and have been in it now for about 4 years. I’m looking forward to seeing more of your videos! By the way, green!😊🏡
Hi Susan! How fun! Another tiny house dweller. Your Christmas decorating ideas sound great! It IS fun trying to make a home festive with just a few things. Yes! The UA-cam fireplace is a must. Have a happy holiday season! 💗
@@CateBeauman thank you so much for reading my post and taking the time to reply! I think Christmas in a tiny house (My Tiny Robin’s Nest) is even more special because there isn’t room for excess meaningless decorations. You have to pick out what is is special and really meaning for you. Bless you richly and have a Merry Christmas!🎄
As small as your space is I would go with the white/green. I’m claustrophobic and I can assure you I would get very tired of the dark green rather quickly!
Hi Rachelle! Downsizing takes time. At one point, we lived in a 3,000 sq ft space. Mostly, I realized that all of the "stuff" was holding me back from the life that I wanted--simplicity and more time to do the things I loved. From there, we started slowly--saying goodbye to items that we knew weren't bringing us closer to that life. I remember starting in kitchen drawers and linen closets. Items where I knew I had too many things that we never used.
@@CateBeauman Thanks Cate! we downsized from a 2600 sq ft home to a 1600 sq ft home and that was hard. I just can't imagine going tiny. :) I think I could do a lot more downsizing though. You are definitely right about our stuff holding us back. Congratulations on your new tiny home.
@@CRRBennett thank you! Downsizing is a journey, that's for sure. Every step toward a life that feels great, is a step in the right direction. Saying goodbye to a 1000 sq ft is a big thing! Wow!
@@CateBeauman I was curious how/where do you store your files, receipts, important papers, taxes.... That is a huge hang up for me, I have downsized it, but I have totes in my attic for taxes and other important papers. Thanks!
@@CRRBennett Hi! We got rid of everything that wasn't absolutely necessary. We have an accordion file for medical records and important papers. Our bills come to us online, so we don't have a ton of paperwork anymore.
Cate, definitely the dark green! I think it pairs well with the little reindeer on the countertop. A more “outdoorsy” look. The tiny house is looking great!

I actually like the white with the green shower curtain
That one pulls at me too!
Green Shower curtain looks best but the white one did look nice also. Use the white one for next year.....
Love love your tiny house who made your steps I need steps for my loft too
We had a local contractor make them for us. We really love them!
The green
Go with the full on green.....it makes it less steril, abd joyful

Yes! We had glass doors on our previous showers in our big house. They were a pain to keep clean. Give me a shower curtain any day!

Where do you store all the seasonal decor?
We have a small "shed" attached to the back of the tiny house. We keep seasonal items out there.
White background.. not so harsh or over whelming beautiful home.
Why Not Put a second curtain row in front of the washer and dryer?
That's a thought I hadn't considered. Thanks for the idea.

The dark green is perfect. The white background shower curtain is too boring.
Dark green shower curtain warms up the bathroom, not sterile looking with all that white.
