A similar thing happened to me during the 1987 littlewoods Cup final
Arsenal v Liverpool, we won 2-1, My ticket was sent to me by Arsenal FC after collecting all the home tokens found in the programs, my ticket for some bizarre reasons was for the scouse end of Wembley, I didn't realise it first as I just followed the red & Whte crowd 🤣😅
Luckily I was on the ground level at the front, when I realised I was at the scouse end I kept my cockney mouth shut when Ian rush scored first I dropped my Wembley program on the floor & took my time getting up from the floor so I didn't give myself away looking pissed off..... But when Charlie Nicholas equalised I forgot where I was & Bounced about like a loon, the scousers around me just stood there starring at me for a few moments lucky for me a couple of Wembley stewards saw me & dragged over the barrier & marched me away, when I explained how I ended up with that scouse lot & showed them my ticket they put me at the other end with my fellow gooners then I was lucky to see Charlie Nicholas score again right I front of me 🤣😅🤣😅
I still don't know how Arsenal FC fucked up by giving me a cup final ticket with opposing supporters...
