Ya Lenus is weak to fire which is why Dart dealt so much damage. Also that was probably harder due to the fact Rose was three levels lower that others in the party. I understand that fight can be rough to do anyways but taking someone like Meru into the fight with her high speed and magic defense makes the second half of the fight easier. Though Meru does have low physical defense making the first part of the fight harder. It is interesting what you can do with party comp. I know a lot of people invest heavily into the Haschel and Albert as a combo but I have tried a lot of different team comps and I can say I believe with the damage and high speed Meru can be a just as strong as the other two I mentioned. Not only this but she has high magic damage and healing in her dragoon form, well high magic damage in general if you keep magic items in your inventory. Though I do agree Kongol is hard to use not just in this fight but through out the whole game in some aspects his speed is cripplingly slow and his damage is not high even to compensate for this.
I didn't know for sure she was weak to fire, but that definitely makes sense as to dart hitting the hardest. I do agree that Meru is a really good team member for this fight (or really just about every fight in the game) but I didn't want to abuse magic damage in this run if I can help it. Albert I mentioned specifically because I have his final addition at max strength, so he would be dealing a ton more damage then rose, and he's actually leveled up so he can take some hits. I didn't add Meru to the team for 2 reasons though, first her additions are not leveled up, and second I wanted rose to get those levels for Hard blade. I fully intend Rose to replace Albert at this point once I have her final addition fully powered up.
@@Smexanator Thanks, I appreciate the advice! Having not played the game in ~8 years I don't remember everything about the game. I had no idea that the name plates give away the element they are! That is a SUPER helpful tip! Thank you so much!
@@rpgfanatic5477 Np bud it is my favorite game and I generally enjoy watching others experience the game and see what they take from it. I also don't mind helping people either just getting into it or returning to it. :)

@@rpgfanatic5477 Keep in mind that opposite element types do extra damage to each other. Also boss name plates give away there element based on color.
