I think for the sake of slipknot keeping us interested in the current events of the band, they should keep doing their cryptic slipknot thing. It’s a major part of their lore. At the same time it’s satisfying to know who it is, if it’s zack, and now we can move on from that. BUT, if it’s not….I’m also satisfied with the rollercoaster ride the “newer guy” mystery is putting us all through.
That Sleep Token show was a show that Sleep Token was the only support band for Slipknot at, which really does point to Zac, but it's also hard to avoid the fact that in Germany in June they have so many metal festivals, including download festival so it's also possible that Zac was just in Germany at the right time and that's helped the rumours but he isn't in the band. But with that said, I feel like Zac is the only real lead we have at the moment, and I'm gonna stick to my guns about it at this point, it has to be him. This idea of Slipknot trolling people doesn't really fit their previous behaviour, they've never really trolled people about it, it's always been a "if you guess it, cool, but we won't announce it until we want to" kind of thing.
Tortilla guy is a bit of a troll, and I don't know if he would be allowed to troll people like that, I feel like he made an honest mistake or did it on purpose.
I used to care a lot about guessing who the new guys are, but at this point I just don't and I know that the next time that they release music, we'll get a name.
Slipknot is being so confusing right now, they’re really tying us up into a knot. But nonetheless, I’ll still enjoy the content they’re making for us
This is the most exciting thing about Slipknot in the passed 8 years or so. I love that each new member (so far) is anonymous until "unforeseen events" take place to reveal their identity. Even if it's just for a short moment the enigma really gets me going, and I can imagine it almost feels like a rite of passage for the member.
I think its Zach. If he wasnt posting pics and stuff, I think I'd be more skeptical. But the band that's touring with them, the photos of Germany, the not being in the country. Kinda adds up💯👍🏼
I recall Jim Root accidentally leaking Michael I think, and then acting like it was just a troll and everyone was falling for it afterwards

I don’t know, it’s seems very intentional ESPECIALLY considering that “ZA” is the ONLY name that is in all capital letters, like look at every one else’s name tag, it’s meant to stand out.
Plus, we all know how much of a troll Pfaff is lmao
They likely don't rewrite those nametags daily for the dividers, they prob wrote all of them at the start of tour to prep the rack, and a later day when he joined just needed to add the divider and wrote it like that. OR, this is a metal band, it's a 3 letter name and that's just what was written, you don't even see all 9 tags, but then again knowing Clown's vision of the band (for those that don't know, Clown is BOSS man) this band is very, very detail oriented, so maybe that was intentional. But as a long time fan, I find this mystery more interesting than their last RR album.
I'd love to see a tour (not just in the US as I am from the UK) called the Masked band tour with the line up being all masked bands. Maybe something in this in order of headliner liner on the left and opener on the right; Slipknot, Sleep Token, Gaerea perhaps and then Swollen Teeth.

crazy to think 4/9 members are new guys now! Makes me wonder that if when corey, mick, sid, jim, and clown decide their time is up in the band if they will all slowly trickle out until theres a new slipknot entirely… a neverending saga kinda like how dragon ball seemed to go on forever thru multiple generations. Would be pretty unheard of for a band!
Reminds me of the band Lordi. The only member who has been part of them fromthe beginning is the singer Mr Lordi himself, the other members who has been part of them the longest joined the band 13 years after the band was formed

I'm glad it's Zach (if it is), I've been a fan of his since seeing him performing with Korn way back in 2009 (an entire year before I started listening to Slipknot!)
And it's a great tie in to when Joey played with Korn around the SYOTOS/Untitled era, the same period Zach joined Korn for their live performances 🤟
(Not to mention Joey and Kalen Chase coming together to create Vimic, the two bands criss-crossing seems to just work so well)

I'm of course sad about Craig no longer being with Slipknot, however I do think that Zac would he a worthy successor in the role if he is truly the new member. He's an incredibly talented dude and, like Pfaff, can do a lot more than his role in the band, which only leads me to hope that the band can get even more creative. Plus, the though of Zac and Pfaff, two incredibly talented musicians and keyboard players, bouncing ideas off of one another, is incredibly exciting. Really hope it is Zac under that mask! 🤘🔥

man, this is so cool, I noticed and also noticed that they are making a point of showing in the photos on the website that his mask is melting or falling apart, so creative
last night in Portugal the mask had only 2 large pieces left... maybe by the end of the European tour it will be fully renewed
I've seen numerous different guesses as to who it could be, with many pointing to keyboardists with vague Slipknot ties. Dorothy Hecht (To My Surprise, one of Shawn's other bands), Kyle Sherrod (The Black Dots of Death, one of Shawn's other bands), Nathan Church (Downthesun, a band that was signed to Slipknot's old vanity label), and Roy Mayorga (drummer of Stone Sour and Ministry who just happens to be a talented keyboardist).
Yet none of them make nearly as much sense as this

@@TheHouseOfMaskswhat if theyre throwing us a loop and zach was just available at the time slipknot had this tour lined up, and the TRUE new member has other things going on? I almost feel like that may have been the case with pfaff at first, quick switch before they really pin it down. It would also make sense why theyre doing it so differently, typically being as hush hush as the NDAs marvel actors have to sign lmao. Maybe they wanna live it up and make it clear that zach is with them or at least tease to that because it could be something that is limited, gets buzz and a little fun stirred up too

I’ve never understood why there’s secrecy around new slipknot member’s identities. It’s not like the pre-2003 slipknot where nobody knew what the band members looked like. And it’s so easy these days to figure out new members due to social media etc. I suppose it’s all part of the publicity.
