He believes in working like crazy even if it isn't necessary, for motivating his employees to continue working for his passion, despite not receiving any salary hikes. Bezos is a more honest man in this regard. Atleast he admits that he doesn't have to work that hard to keep his company going. His most crucial task is to make very few quality decisions with high accuracy, and they both do that well. But you DON'T need to work 100 hours a week unless your startup is just taking off.
