Best of luck, Casey. I think with all of the international talent being pushed towards IndyCar with F1's limited seats, alongside American up and comers, that RTI is as good a proving ground as any in the world right now.

This is really exciting Casey! Indy has been a part of my life, as long as I have been alive, these nearly 49 years, now. My grandpa lived in Indiana, and began going to Indy as a young kid, before WW2. He served in the South Pacific, in a B-25. After the war was over, he never missed another time trial, or race, until his death in 1994. I went with him a few times as a kid. He always had as much access as he could get us. As a young kid, it was all so impressive to me, in scale. Still is. I have an old Polaroid of myself inside the 80's Indy car that was (is still?) in the museum, which you were allowed to sit in. 😁

Man, I just love how this is playing out. Definitely looking forward to following you and Simon through the coming months. Saw him dominate a RFP event a few years ago and been following him since. Will be great to watch what you guys can learn from each other coming from completely different perspectives.

Indy (from my understanding) is very similar so the difference is basically the drivers, that’s why it’s very competitive.
Love watching you I'd suggest getting used to sim racing vehicles with the halo system it seems next year the new body will be utilizing them

Ive been an indycar fan for years. And have been desperate to learn more about the road to Indy. There is very very poor coverage of the races so I cannot wait for this journey!

There is still a quite obvious flow of drivers during the last 30 (40, 43...? ; since Mario became World Champion in an unbeatable car...) years from F1 to Indy Car/ CART than the opposite direction.
Which is somehow understandable. I always loved Indycar to be more grounded, cheaper (in a good way), honest and exciting.
Even before Mercedes crushed all of their competition. (Wait. I loved Mercedes/Penske back in the days... Today, I can't stand them in F1...)
So, what is the major difference, you are pointing at?

In the end, you, Sir, are pumpin' your muscles about your own business in the SAME WAY, it is done here in Europe.
Without any research, I'm kinda sure, most single seater rookie series have more or less one thing in common: less spectators than they should have.
I can only refer to the mid 90's, when the German F3 was associated to the DTM schedule.
They got their share of attention. Boy, they did!
