Batumi looks gorgeous, like the Miami or Dubai of Georgia and I'm sure most people haven't even heard about this city! I heard the name for the first time only a few years ago. Stunning architecture, both the modern and old buildings, the city looks very rich.

Apart from the beautiful scenery and buildings, the part of the video I like most is how gentle and respectful the drivers are towards pedestrians and other cars.

Its impressive how much georgia is improving! There is still a lot to do but when you compare it with the early 2000s its like two different worlds.
I saw one sign for apartments from $41,000. Batumi looks like a place I would really like to see.
You can find cheaper than 41k in Batumi. Need to understand that the Airport that works properly is in Tbilisi and it is nearly 6 hours away from Batumi by train or by taxi. IMO It is better to buy an apartment in Tbilisi, buy a small car and you can enjoy many cities in Georgia.

@@jesusonXTC IMHO Georgia is a very cheap and beautiful place for living for foreigners. I speak from experience because my apartment in batumi is closed for 2 years and my car is in a public parking lot. I pay 60 GEL yearly for the car parking.

in the Netherlands the Apartments are very expensive I pay here 187,000 € then you have nothing special. If you live in a city like Amsterdam you will soon go to 1 million.

Batumi it looks nice, in full development.
Visited Batuk just last year at sea front had booked 2 bed apt complete with kitchenette facilities friendly people the walk at the beach resort was very children friendly with different rides they could indulge in and keep themselves occupied visited a botanical garden and a dolphin show there was a mall nearby about 1000 km away and the local fare was also very interesting; the food n the upmarket area was really delicious and there were many people enjoying in open pubs and singing wth rare bonhomie! The varied local ice creams esp the pistachio Choc and coffee were something to die for... also the steaming corn on the cob. I visited in the latter half of the year and the climate was such that it kept drizzling on & off interspersed with the scalding sun! Certainly I would recommend it as a go to tourist destination!- an eye surgeon from Mumbai India.Very Clean precincts!!

To miasto ma zbyt szybki rozwój 20 %. Nawet Hong Kong tak szybko się nie rozwijał. Komunikacja miejska prawie nie istnieje. Prywatne busy też jest ich zbyt mało. Z tego co widzę to pozostaje rower, samochód lub motor. Z tego co widzę to mają duży problem z zatrudnieniem pracowników. Chciałbym tam pojechać, piękne miejsce.
Jak to z zatrudnieniem pracowników problem mają? Nie rozumiem ?

Есть красивые здания , но эти старые и ветхие здания выглядят ужасно и город становится быть похожим на бедные улочки Мумбая. Неужели жители этого не видят ?
Эти ветхие и старые здания не находятся непосредственно в 'центре города' и места где вы их увидели чаще всего считаются пригородом и окресностями. По крайней мере так считает само государство и по этому несмотря на интерес и просьбы людей, пытается украсить непосредственно центральную територию Батуми, т.е. ту, которую чаще всего навещают и видят туристы.
Ничего ужасного и ветхого там нет. Да, там встречаются старые жилые дома постройки в советские времена. Но что в них ужасного? Их просто нужно модернизировать по фасадам и они будут смотреться вполне современно. Можно , конечно, ахать и охать, но невозможно запретить прошлого. В Батуми оно осталось с форме старой советской архитектуры. Я не из Грузии, чтобы не казалось, что одурманен "патриотизмом"
