Thanks Terry. More of these if Randy is willing.
It was so great to hear from Randy again. Thanks Prospector!
Great interview with Mr. Lewis. Thank you.
Always listen to the old timers. They all have a story to be told. Great info
Terry these are such fantastic stories. I can’t thank you enough for putting in the work as well as sharing everything with us. That being said, I think we need to get him back for the rest of the tangents. I’m addicted!
Keep up with the great videos . I love the information been watching as many of your episodes as I can
What an informative video, packed with ancient info and history. I wish I could have been along-side this guy in his travels and explorations. There is so much history that we will never encounter that has been lost to time. I enjoy hearing from older prospectors about stories we may never hear about.
theres not too many of these good ole boys left, great story
This was one of your best videos Terry 👍
That was a fantastic story 😁.more please.lol.I enjoyed that a lot..
ufortunately we are losing our old timers, i was raised by my great grandparents they were born in 1916 and 1920 and i miss hearing my grandfathers stories of being a coal miner here in ohio he actually had patents with his company he worked for
Yep once history is gone from the mine that possesses it it's gone forever I'm glad things are getting documented not for the treasure but just for the history
this is my favorite video from you terry. amazing stuff :D
Interesting! We always heard about the lost Rhodes mine because our grandfather, Victor Dee Cram, worked for Caleb Rhodes on his ranch near Price. Victor was born in Kanab, lived in Huntington and Salt Lake City. He rode his horse between SLC and Kanab several times. He even rode his horse to Calgary, Canada, according to his autobiography. He died in 1966, when he was 81 years old.
Thanks for sharing your families history with us Paul McFarland
Wow that was a Great interview Thankyou Terry and Randy i really enjoyed that !!

We have guaranteed access to Big Ridge because the Forest Service has the road on top of Big Ridge designated as FS 225. If for some reason the Forest Service drops the designation of FS 225, then the Indians could block access to the road, which could be reversed in federal court at a high monetary cost. Many decades ago the Northern Utes sued in federal court for trying to block access on the paved road over the reservation, which connected Mountain Home to Moon Lake. The Indians lost the law suit, but did gain the right to have all of the pavement removed off reservation land, which was removed. This resulted in a severe wash board road the was constantly leaving clouds of dust from every vehicle traveling on the wash board road. Also, our family prematurely wore out several vehicle suspensions on that "dam reservation road", when traveling across it every weekend for a couple of decades to perform development work on our Moon Lake Federal Lode Mining Claims. Eventually, in the 1990's the Northern Ute Indians allowed repaving of the Moon Lake Road because the road dusts chocked off with killing most of the grass and fauna for many miles around the road. After a couple of decades on no more plant killing dust has all of the grass and fauna from miles away from the road in the state of excellent feed for cattle and wildlife, which resulted in a Win - Win situation for us and the Indians.
Great story terry,.Sure be nice to hear more from this gentleman. take care.

You gotta do another sit down…I would do as much as he’d agree to…he’s the last of the important ones…
There is some of those documented with federal surveys stakes ,up on the old Ute Indian trail in Fremont county Colorado real small circles of chiped rocks about 3-1/2 foot tall, enough for two men only, there is rare blue cristils around that area . dinosaur fossils, platnumn radioactive calsite crystal's,gold right, lots of fun .come on up be there for atonement day 7-7-2022 prayers for all 🙏🙏🙏 amen amen amen
Four-mile creek/Red Canyon/Shelf Road?
Be where, exactly?
And what is Atonement day?
Thanks.
Fire.cut how lucky
And I have some property by the Hopi res by the 4 corners area we could me at to hope all's going good for you ,we had plans on checking out the giants on the San Pedro River ,but the plandemic card was let out of the bag
What seems to have happened is there is a place called Rock Creek in the area, while on the Lost Rhodes map there is Rock Creek. The thing is though it’s a description he gave a nickname to, and not an actual name at all. We know this from another map that he calls “sand creek” which again is also a nickname he gave that creek also.
The only Spanish mine in Rock Creek, is 200 yards upward on the road from the Miners Gulch bridge and 10 feet off road to the right ( north ). A very old Spanish map shows it there.
Yes there is a mine there, I heard about that one probably forty years ago, I have seen it. Thank you Randy W Lewis
There are 12 or more on Indian land and a half dozen on Forest that I know about. If you count all the way to the rims, there are more still. Most are covered up or real sketchy but the dumps are still there and the trails to the mines if you look sharp. For starters there are two just above Pigeon Water to the East. There is one down by the lower San Pedro trail in a canyon not far from one massacre site. There are two to the South on the way down the steep switch backs into Rock Creek. There is one mine below the old Ranger Station. Two near Mt. Albert. If you count the blow holes Randy was talking about there are three more. There are two in Macafee Basin. Three right along the river that water still flows out of. There is one in lower Miners Gultch and one up high. There are several up the Grandaddy Trail and at least 3 above Upper Still Waters to the East. You can find most of these on old Spanish Maps. I left 4 others I know about off this list because they are off the Res and we are still exploring them!
@@treasureexplorationandrese3712 You could be right, but i was talking about old Spanish/Mexican mines close to Rock Creek.
From the old Spanish/Mexican maps I have seen, only one still in the Indian reservation, and it's their sacred mine.
The only old mine in the Uintas which was worked by both Spaniards ( Espejo ) and Mexicans ( Reinaldo ), is the Rhoades mine which it's not in the Indian reservation.
@@mariosmark3107 Before the Spanish were the Black Robes, before them were the Aztec and before them the Indo Greeks. Who knows who opened the mines but everyone has sought values in them and reopened them when they could. The mexicans were last until the pioneers entered the SL Valley. The Mexicans explored all the old diggings and made some more themselves.
@@treasureexplorationandrese3712 The only treasure/mining maps related to Utah were made by Spaniards and after by Mexicans who had also Spanish roots. What the Black Robes knew about mining and maps , were taught by the Spaniards who were masters in this domain. Jesuits used in their maps the same treasure codes with the Spaniards but in a free style, without compass but only with known to them landmarks.
If Aztecs would been ever in Utah , were only for trade. Their mother land was Arizona and after Mexico, and their ancient mines were and still in Arizona.
Indo Greeks lived around the Gulf of Mexico and made some expeditions to the north reaching what it's today Utah but their headquarters were around the Gulf.
The 25 pylast were moved !!!! The old man was right there with Jim phylips says there was men with pick up trucks the last day they were there they didn't let him cover it back up and when they kicked him out they apparently did not give him permission to go to treasure Hill he only had permission to dig up one by the river .......even all we get to see is pictures it would be neat to see what they were talking about with the 25 pylast
@@ImWhatsCrackin I'm sure I spelled it wrong but in a earlier interview we're patsy was present they talk about how Jim Philips allegedly stole information from mel fisher that talked about the stacks they said it was 25 pylast ? They apparently bought that from the jejuist the black robes in Spain
The Indians knew where the previous civilization hid their gold and artifacts.most of the gold was already mined and processed.
There's conflicting information here when you stated that you were upset about the tree and you went to Richard he blamed jim phylips for knocking it down but the old man that was there states that the Indians told them to knock it down across the river so they wouldn't get there feet wet ......they supposedly took Richard out of there while Jim Philips was there searching .....but then how is it that when you told Richard you were upset about the tree he said don't worry we moved it .........he's like the hidden hand behind all of this
✌️😎📸💯
When did the Spanish first come to Utah? Is there evidence in the Spanish archives?
Hay Terry Carter can you make it to Fremont county Colorado for atonement day 7-7-2022 I got something better then the giants on the San Pedro River in AZ ,let me know prayers for all 🙏🙏🙏 amen amen amen
Hi Terry its John Junes son !! I think we should talk someday !!
Hey John, that sounds great. I am in Mason City Iowa right now, when I get back we should get together
Wow,need to write down or record everything that man knows.
Either... Dennys or the Branding Iron...Both are gone..
I’d think it’s safe to say those caches are still there. They say they moved them or they were found. But in reality they want people outta there.
