    Starting smoking weed at 16,diagnosed with anxiety at 20.Been on numerous anti anxiety meds over the years and kept thinking the weed was the best for anxiety.Decided to take a break from weed at 54 as i wasnt getting much from it anymore.The most amazing thing happened......The anxiety went down 10 fold after a month.Will never touch it again.

    3 weeks sober. So boring and depressing but I have to change. Pushing through trying to rediscover who I am without weed. I love it, but I have goals and it’s impeding my ambition. Making it feel ok to be where I am and it’s not ok. Hopefully once I accomplish these goals and become who I’m destined to be I can enjoy it moderately again.

      If you weren’t able to use it moderately when you needed to, to achieve goals it’s very doubtful you’d be able to do it moderately after your goals are achieved and you don’t need to use it moderatly as much. Best bet is to try to find other things to get your enjoyment in life from.

    Alcohol and cigarettes addiction actually destroyed my life. I could remember several years ago after divorce with my wife which brought me into my disastrous journey on Alcohol and cigarettes. I suffered severe anxiety and mental disorder. Got diagnosed with cptsd. Not until a friend recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 8 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.

      Can you help me with the reliable source 🙏. I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Australia. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them.

    • @RobertaSandra-no3dy
      @RobertaSandra-no3dy 4 місяці тому +1

      From my experience it really works excellently! It doesnt even need to be a full hit. With potent shrooms 2-3 small ones will still make a clear difference. It will be a few hour cosy rumbling moment around rest time, but afterwards its just calm and you feel amazing and gain your freedom. Psilocybin is different dudes, its the only "treatment" I would recommend to someone who genuinely wants to get better. There is no addiction, withdrawal, or negative side effects. It's just pure healing., far more effective than any anti-depressant. You can thank me later

    • @MartFrancis
      @MartFrancis 4 місяці тому

      I was horrifically depressed since childhood. It was relentless. I assumed it would ultimately end me somehow. About twelve years ago I randomly accepted the offer from a friend of a few doses of mushrooms. I did them two consecutive nights alone. First night was pretty mild. The second night? Wow. I saw my depression from every angle, realized much. Next day: depression totally gone. Never came back, never coming back. It's like it's a forest far away I can remember, and could probably find again with enough effort, but it has zero impact on anything in my life or mind. They honestly saved my life and improved it immensely. I never did them
      again, either. I wish there was a good,
      organized way to administer them to people who would benefit from them.

    I've quit many times for a couple of months, but I keep going back. Putting myself through the withdrawal symptoms of anxiety, irritability, depression, and low energy again and again. Don't be like me - make it past the hump and quit for good! I think one of the hardest things about addiction is putting belief in yourself again after you've repeatedly failed.

Quit to see how improvements in my physically training and sports will be. the first several days were brutal, insomnia, migraines , nausea and really pissed off. These days I'm feeling much better, thinking clearly and my workouts are actually much improved. The DREAMS are unreal. getting better sleep and my energy is through the roof. Mentally its a long road, but i feel unstoppable and much more confident in who I am. My family notices the difference and that's the important thing to me!! Stay the course, you can do it. I don’t know I feel the term Gateway drug is kind of misused in a way people that are using hard drugs to forget things to numb things that have happened to them are using for a totally different reason than somebody that is using for pleasure enjoyment they do create a dependence on the drug, however Some cocaine, heroin, physical dependence you don’t have it you’re sick, but we I could never see weed being a problem in my life unless I didn’t have any lol serious. I do realize some people it affects them differently. I am recovering addict use marijuana for addictions reasons to help me stay away from other drugs takes the anxiety away for me and relaxes me. I don’t think I’ve ever found a weed that keeps me awake but anyway cool episode.

    I've attempted to quit it multiple times, but each attempt ended in failure. It's been nearly 10 years of cannabis use, and I've reached a point where I've had enough. Currently, I find myself with a confused and anxious mind. Three months ago, I lost my job because my performance deteriorated due to cannabis use, and now I'm falling behind in my studies. I urge anyone not to start smoking it. The recovery process is challenging but worth it. Today is my first day without it, and it feels like I might not make it through, but I know it's a crucial step in the right direction.

    Ive fallen off the wagon 2 to 3 times at this point. I always end up convincing myself that with a little discipline it wont get the best of me but when something life changing happens i go back to it for relief and it helps for a while until slowly but surely the benefits subside and the dependency stays. If you can actually moderate then i think its ok but some of us just cant or arent mentally strong enough yet and need more growth. Sober living is great. Youll always run into that friend that can smoke when he wants and not depend on it and it wavers your journey but thats not you. You quit for a reason keep on it and you will be rewarded. Working my way up to my next quit. Its part of the journey to relapse you just gotta get back on track. Good luck to everyone who needs that little pep talk.

    Great video. Weed probably won’t hurt a marriage like alcohol, thank god, but, especially if one person is using and the other not, I mean - if you’re smoking all the time, you’re not building memories with your partner, you have reduced motivation to plan and do things together a couple. Your communication suffers. Depending on your circumstance it can cause a financial strain. This isn’t only true if one person uses. And if you’re in a constantly altered state, do you know who you’re presenting to the world as yourself? Like who is your partner even married to.

    Her answer on cannabis being a gateway drug really gained my trust. I hate when people say that and it makes me put my guard up. Also I must be a rare bread, because the reason I started using it is, because an unethical pain management doctor had me on a 25mcg and 50 mcg fentinal patch on each arm and per a set and morphine, all within eight months for fibromyalgia. That’s right, I didnt have a major injury or cancer, he loaded me up for fibromyalgia. Then when I said I can’t do this anymore he fired me, and my regular doctors wouldn’t help me. A Christian military wife came to my help with cannabis and that was in 2013 and I haven’t had any pain meds other then after my C Section since then.

    this conversation has amazing information in it if you look at the surface level of what drugs do and why they are used but what she isn't talking about is what happens to the brain to cause an individual to want to use drugs in the first place. The focus from most of the scientific "experts" is on the drug instead of the individual. One of these days we will figure out that it's up to the individual to search inside themselves to understand why they are doing what they are doing. Thus is not focused on the solution and is not giving much information on how to quit and why we are doing it in the first place except for using surface level localized issues which is missing the point entirely.

      Because people are still uneducated about it.
      Weak people blame substances and things outside of themselves.
      Strong people look internally for answers.
      Cannabis is a magnifying glass to help with self-awareness, but people become self-aware of their anxiety or depression while they're on cannabis and think it's the weed's fault they are like that lol NO! The weed is just showing them what is ALREADY UNDER THE SURFACE. It's just bringing it to light.

No anxiety, depression or insomnia. Some people I know also smoked the weed for decades and just stopped cold turkey w/o any withdrawal symptoms.
    I don’t agree with her opinion and deduce that may be the case for psychiatric reasons where people use it for psychological relief with which it helps and the symptoms return when they stop.

      Cannabis is a MAGNIFYING glass for our internal state.
      We become MORE anxious, depressed, lazy, sad, happy, etc...when we use it because WE ALREADY FELT THAT WAY. It's bringing to the surface what is already there underneath and dormant. We should be paying attention to those things and combating them normally.
      People don't understand this about cannabis. It is a wonderful tool for self-awareness, reflection, and healing.
      Cannabis can't induce or cause psychosis...unless you ALREADY suffer from psychosis. Again, proving my point...it's a magnifying glass for what is already there under the surface internally.

Then after a month, to give my body time to detox from the cannabis, then just quit the perks cold turkey. Easy peazy, but no doctor will prescribe perks for me. It's easy. The one thing I found for myself that helps is hip hop. In this economy where most are surviving, nobody is going to be mentally stable, anxiety is at an all time high because of the state of the country sober. Anxiety pills just make you a bit sleepy, like zoloft. Because of an injury I can't work back breaking work anymore, but because of the current environment in the country people losing jobs and homes no matter how many hours or jobs you get left and right. Political tensions. Pharma is no joke either. I would rather not be dependent in pills either unless I had a life threatening disease where I need certain pills or I die. Too many people get hooked to pills from pharmacy too. Just because one has more money, like the racist g.o.p., does not mean they are right.

Especially when losing your place despite how hard you work is a high possibility these days. I was homeless before and it wasn't fun. I worked from 14 to 30 when the injury happened. Work was a good mediator when you could afford to live on your own. Not just to survive. No progress whatsoever. That causes anxiety in itself. So how do you remedy that? More pills? More work? People are working full time out of their cars nowadays because rent and mortgages are way too expensive. People are working to die now. Which is why I chose not to have kids or get married yet

But that was ok after a back fusion I got to take 13 different pain meds a day! Weed helped get off of those 13 pain meds a day that were killing me! So pharmaceuticals are better because they are legal and someone was making billions off of people like me! But that’s ok?! So What drugs was she talking about to supposedly get off weed? And Of course there would be no side effects?! But after it was legalized here my pain doc got to prescribe weed. CBD weed which helps with pain greatly! Not to mention other health benefits it gives! So I guess I have to say it? with your biases you really don’t know what you are talking about! Yep you read that right folks do your due diligence before getting feared out of weed and if you're having issues perhaps review your dose? Most things make a U curve if too much is taken, also shit for studies on this unfortunately when it comes to THC, remember that when hearing these people crucify THC when they are talking 100mg and 10mg is exactly the same to them because they follow science and the science has not done a well funded study on doses 😅.
