I took a tour of the campus a few weeks ago and now I really want to go there, my favourite part was the bookstore🥰 I’m still in high school and have many goals to get in UBC. As much as I want to go my parents kinda discourage it because it’s far from home and expensive. I believe I have the grades but isn’t it hard to get in? btw love your videos:)💗

I really want to go to ubc; rn it’s between ubc and uottawa but my parents keep insisting ubc is too expensive since we are from the GTA and just it being too far. It’s my first choice, so I’m really biased towards it. Is the overall cost of ubc that much more than other universities, excluding the flights?
Rachel Lim the cost also differs by what you’re studying! I’m not too sure what the cost differences are but plane tickets do also add that extra amount:( But since you’re from Ontario, you can also look into OSAP or apply for grants/scholarships at ubc? Hope it all works out❤️
Itsyvn ah yeah I wanna major in First Nations and Indigenous studies and minor in geography environment and sustainability. I’m going to the Toronto metroconvetnion centre open house soon so that’ll help a lot.

Kayl Vids I guess just keep working hard to keep your grades up, try to be as well rounded as you can (ie. clubs, sports, extracurricular) and voice your personality in your personal profile to stand out!🥰 good luck, hope this helps a bit!
