The album before Head left. Kudos to these guys for keeping it together! Glad head is back! Waiting on Fieldy. Hope he has found his healing and on the way back. Kornhead and maggot forever!!!!!
I still don't know why people said it was a bad album. Maybe it's because it was one of their heavier albums that they'd done since their debut and Life is Peachy and people had gotten used to the softer stuff that was throughout Issues and Untouchables. I still love those albums, but this album was a return to form. I've hated pretty much every album after this one.
The first album that I bought with my allowance from my dad. Became a fan a year earlier and now over 20 years have passed! This banger will always be in my top 3 from the boys. Fieldy's bass and JD's screams were at their peak here. LONG LIVE KORN

The lyrics explain it all. The lead singer had a very dependent girlfriend who has tragically passed. Many of these lyrics document the evolution of their time together. Their latest album is after her passing, and focuses heavily on that. No doubt an incredibly difficult and taxing situation, but one that we all must learn to overcome. Drugs may stay the pain, but that pain becomes a devoted hunter, dead-set on taking you down. Learn to overcome your past pains/failures and never repeat the same mistakes.
Always come back to Korn it's been my favorite since I could form memories. My dad would always listen to them and I grew up in the back seat listening to Korn
@@oenelmis Making me think that I was not the shit, the shit was people who surrounded me and took advantage of my goodness and my money. Now I feel so grossed out by them that I don't even hate them. And because I am a musician. hehehehe
I got a demo of their first album before it came around '95. I knew a person who knew the right person. Been listening since. ..still gets my ass fired up
I haven’t listened to it in years but I remember it just lacked creativity and seemed a bit uninspired. However, it was the last album with all the OG members and there are still some massive grooves and sounds in this album.
I discovered Korn at this period and the first I album I had was Untouchables Not easy to appreciate first, so when Mirror came out, it was amazing for me Still one of their best album for me, great songs, raw sound, pure Korn music
I love their first 6 albums. Issues being my least favorite but it still has a few of my all-time favorite Korn songs on it. This album is awesome and I have no idea why people gave it so much shit. I've NEVER understood it. People were saying it wasn't good even when it first came out. Compared to everything that came after, this album is an absolute masterpiece.
I forgot here it comes again and everything ive known are so great! The way jon sings the chorus to here it comes again makes me sway like im in a rave its so hypnotic! He could sing nursery rhymes and i.d listen to it! Oh wait he did! Shoots n ladders! Haha n everything ive known is just *chefs kiss*
Break sum off and counting on me are my fav songs off this album!!! So heavy and underrated!!!! Jesus the riffs and vocals in break sum off are brutal! And the lyrics to counting on me are so powerful. Counting on me always hoping ill be there for all of yr problems in turn yr never there for me. You suck the life out of me, you hate everything u see, i cant take this any more i always stay when i should leave.! Just wow!
@E40FVN420⛽️💨 And I did not even realise that (I knew 1 or 2 left but did not know who or when). Every other albulm after this can only be described as... "chaotic". There is no diversity, no drops, no rhythm and no feeling.
@E40FVN420⛽️💨 I agree, Issues was their last brilliant album imo, Untouchables and TALITM were obvious they were falling but still "KoRn" and had some listening in them.... after that, it's almost ear torture lol.
First album I learned to play in it's entirety!!! (Drums) Love the bass on this album was definitely something different than anything released before it!!!
Facts, last "dark" album before their later material since See You On The Other Side (2005) to have "pop" roots. Otherwise, that album was profound too.
I Love Korn there ine of my favorite bands there all Bakerfield California there awesome so tighht and a beautiful band that dont take shit from people
in 1995, 1996 felt in love with KORN so deep. they, especially Johnatan and his cathartic moments in Daddy etc. were the main theme to my life, however my personal suffering due to beeing an outsider, "prügelknabe" wasn´t so tragically hard, that moment made me consider - kid there are people on earth who suffer a whole lot of more than you, and that helped me a lot. Also FOLLOW THE LEADER was a main theme, later then with ISSUES, came punk-rock and turned me into more positive tunes bands like NOFX, BAD RELIGION, RANCID, PENNYWISE (you know there´s a reason why people are behaving like beasts *** cause it makes rich people richer in very short - that there´s a the biggest motherfucker managing human anger thru their trust), while beeing angry still. So this is the first time I hear this great album full of great songs and not single one is not a banger. Still kind of everything is wrong because I hate myself album, but as a catharsis to its mood works better than any psychiatrist can... , all hail KORN, the greatest innovators of 90´s metal music.
F÷ckin' love this band !! The antisethist of guitar hero metal. Awesome !! I will be in my rocking chair at the old folks home, bitching about how they just don't make music like this anymore !! And all the other old fogeys telling me to turn it down.! Never !!!
It was released in September of 2003 if memory serves me right, its been a long ass time lol but i remember getting it the day it came out! i know for sure it was in 2003 just not when in 2003 lol Edit: I looked it up, it was November of 2003 😊

I haven't listened to this album in ten years, but i still know every word. I forgot how good it was.
Exactly the same! Each piece brings certain memories to every single song
This was really the only album of theirs i connected with, so its nice to see so many people saying its one of their best.
Criminally underrated album of tunes! It's a banger!
