So great you showed those headswaps! I want to get this figure to use for a godfather Vito Corleone custom and you proved that my plan is viable! One of the main reasons for watching your reviews is the awesome sizecomparisons you always do but this was even one-up! Keep up the great work!
Thanks
He’s a great regular guy or mobster
I’ve been considering getting a 1/12 scale fur like coat for him to give him a little bit more of a traditional look
Make sure it’s 1/10 scale, 1/12 might not fit him
You could use the "finger gun hand" as a cigar holding hand if you cut the 2 fingers apart.
That’s actually a great idea!
Just got this today as a birthday gift from my brother.
The uzi and desert eagle from the mcfarlane weapon pack go really well with this figure. This guy is surprisingly good!
Happy birthday
@@dHuntersReviews thanks g.
They dropped luke, bill burr, and beast same day too. I felt lucky lol.
Thinking of picking this figure up as a substitute for Tony Twist the mobster figure we never got from the old Spawn comics back in the day.
Nice
Should fit in with the new Spawn like really well
The WB gun ban doesn't seem to apply to the 4" Spin Master figures. Granted, they are brightly colored and a little cartoony, but McFarlane isn't even able to do Bloodsport's brightly colored, very cartoony guns. And Neca said that the gun ban forced them to cancel the Mr. Freeze prop gun. I guess the ban doesn't apply to teeny, tiny guns.
Can you give me an example of a Spinmasters DC figure with a gun?
@@dHuntersReviews take a look at the Gotham City Police car set. The Commisoner Gordon figure came with a bright colored pistol.

You are right, I guess they have to be colored red?
@@dHuntersReviews D.C. has some weird priorities with their products.
It’s Warner brothers.
Fantastic - nailed the likeness! Thanks for the review!
Thanks for watching, very much enjoying this figure!
Super complete review. Very nice work
Thx
Not too shabby. I've never had a Penguin figure before [too many to choose from, so little space] but I'm considering picking this up. Overall the figures for The Batman are great in terms of how detailed they are.
Totally digging this line
With the DC gun ban I hope it doesn't screw the Mezco release of Mr. Freeze. Having his freeze rays is a must. I see no other way. I wonder if it's part of the reason Batman 89 is delayed as well because of his grapple guns?
I think those figures will be allowed to come with guns because they were started before the gun ban.
@@dHuntersReviews I hope so. The Mafex Hush Joker included guns during the preorder but was removed prior to shipping.
Are you sure?
@@dHuntersReviews Positive. Check out BBTS listing. It still has the solicitation photos showing the bang gun from when it went up for preorder. Months after BBTS sent a message stating due to the WB gun ban, the gun accessory will not be included. Sure enough it only came with hands and the knife.
Lame
Penguin did hold an umbrella in the funeral scene.
Ah nice
I don’t like the impression of penguin. But the figure looks great. I’m getting it as a generic mobster
I love it
I just got the 3. 3/4 version on clearance and he comes with a gun AND an umbrella
Giant red dumb gun
I added sunglasses on mine to make him sort of balding Tony Twist from Spawn.
Nice!
I saw someone complaining it’s a statue on a forum. It has some articulation but in reality he wouldn’t be doing anything acrobatic to need a lot of articulation.
McFarlane may make other more regular looking figures in the future for dc multiverse. Not in superhero/villian costumes.
Yeah, give me Alfred, Gordon, Bruce Wayne, and more! Not just for this film, but from the comics!
Mate I got my figure out of forbidden planet for 15euro I Iv subscribed love the way you describe every detail happy to be on board Paulie
Nice
I’m a big fan of this figure, I know many aren’t.
No umbrella it’s a little disappointed
I assume he’ll use one in the movie, even if it’s just a little Easter egg. One of the smaller Spinmasters figures comes with one.
@@dHuntersReviews because spin master knows better than to give him finger guns
So does McFarlane, but Warner brothers is forcing them.
@@dHuntersReviews yeah but the fingers guns are a fuck you to Warner bros it’s funny I will ise them but Todd puts as many with spawn as he can
Yeah, I can only imagine how frustrating it is for McFarlane that WB does this.
I am here after the HBO Penguin featurette and will buy this now😂
I can’t wait for the show
I think I can use the body to make a custom for The Presence
Not familiar with him
*looks him up*
Great figure! Can't wait to put this guy next to my The Batman Riddler! Question...would you ever consider doing trailer reactions, or a movie review for The Batman after it comes out?
I’d like to do stuff like that
Not sure how to proceed
"early bird gets the worm." -penguin
Well played
Never clicked on a vid faster. 35 secs from this video being released lol.
Nice
Beat it next time!!
I have no problem with no gun but where is his stick?
Isn't penguin supposed to have a stick or umbrella or something?
🤔🤔🤔
I haven’t seen the movie, but usually, yes.
Lets be honest, this is a terrible collection. Many people are always saying good things about the figures on their videos when they are not.
DHunter explains why he's collecting many of him ... head swap for extra henchman. With that in mind, if he is the Penguin even Arkham Asylum video gaming is off with his body proportions, size, etc to say all past Penguins (even Burgess Meredith of the 1960s) are lacking how tall and more fit the Penguin is. Although taller to all his Penguin comparisons he just looks more like some other mob boss maybe allied to The Penguin. Maybe that is the spoiler that he isn't.
I think this collection is fantastic, I’m totally loving it.
Don’t get me wrong, didn’t need unmasked Batman and Catwoman, but really enjoying these.
This is totally this version’s Penguin. This is the type of figure I like, he’ll fit in great in my action figure universe.
@@dHuntersReviews ... Batman with the cowl? Many of us think "Spin Master" knocked it out of the park in the Spin Master 12" Batman. It's just who likes what preferences. I don't mind chubby fathers dressing up in cosplay either. We just all have different Batman looks we like.
where can i buy the umbrella?
Pretty sure I said it in the video
This was came with Diamond Select Toys Penguin.
I think I can get a second one to make it look like Kingpin from the Netflix series
That could be done
I am curious what’s under his trench coat, but not curious enough to take it off.
Very cool
Be well be safe
Thx
I want a Arkham city penguin and mad hatter two pack for 30 with each figure getting three
Accessories
I doubt they will ever release that, but you never know
@@dHuntersReviews they probably won’t but it would be amazing getting two small characters for 30 dollars would be a great deal
They would charge full price $40 if they did that.
@@dHuntersReviews maybe if it all new sculpt
No, they’d charge it anyway and you know it
Is the trench coat removable?
Not unless you cut it off.
Colin Farrell' portrayed various characters across different universes, but gets bad or even doesnt get any figure representation at all.
I don’t think they ever made a movie Bullseye from Daredevil.
I wish they got some one shorter to play penguin
It works for me
Power Suit Lex Luthor head makes Penguin look silver age Luthor.
Confused…
@dHunter's Reviews , if you take off the Pengin head and place the Power Suit Luthor head on Penguin body you have a business suit Luthor.
Ahhh got it
Is it me, or is the figure too small?
I didn’t feel like he was
Well penguin is usually smaller and shorter so it fits in some kind
But he doesn’t have to be, look at Gotham, he was tall and thin…
@@dHuntersReviews Yeah cuz he was still a teenager at some point, maybe he getted more fat in future. But i don't mind him Begin taller. He looks more like maroni in this kind of body form.Wich looks good for penguin cuz he Beacome gangster and all
Yeah, works for me too.
I thought Bob Hoskins from Who Framed Roger Rabbit would have made a great realistic Penguin for the Christopher Nolan movies, but he was probably too old I think he would have been in his sixties when those movies were made. The Penguin from the Arkham games really reminded me of him
Rumor was Phillip Seymore Hoffman back in the Dark Knight days.
