Another great vid! So many amazing tors in merrivale you can't go wrong, sweltor quarry and Kings tor have just been re added to the camping map. But I agree, great mis is epic! Always somewhere to camp out of the wind👍

@@dartmoorlife Just got back from my first Dartmoor camp on Great Mis Tor. The red flag was flying so I stayed well away from the range on the west side of the Tor. There was no firing while I was there, so all good. Where next?

@@robmulcahy317 I've camped on Dartmoor loads over the last couple of years and never had a problem. I usually open my glove box to show there's nothing worth taking

I know what you mean Simon, I worry leaving my car anywhere overnight on Dartmoor. But thankfully, I've never ever had a problem, and fingers crossed I never will 😁

Nice looking wild camp, must say i agree about getting bored on winter camps and it don't help my arthritis 😕 tend to car or van camp now

My first Dartmoor camp was the north side of little mis, Halloween night 2022,
The only horror I witnessed was the rain😂
It would worry me leaving my car in that car park overnight .

Had my car broken into at Kennick reservoir whilst I was trout fishing in a boat some years ago.
