Great test! That air boat is something else. Beauty. It runs on land too I see ☺️ So cool. Batteries seem to work great. Too bad they didn’t make them hard case like their 2S. I prefer hard cases for safety reasons, but there are of course some advantages with the soft packs (weight, size and instant check up if anything is puffed).

on 3S its right at the ragged edge of losing it when opened up! luck it stayed upright on a couple of those turns, looks and performs pretty good though! air boats are lots of fun in snow, learned years ago to cake scuff the bottom with paraffin wax, kinda lumpy so snow won't stick to them and they don't stick to the snow, scrapes off with a plastic card pretty easy afterwards.
think I'd mentioned the yard sign + pool noodle single motor hovercraft I'd whipped up a couple years back, on 2S its cushion is only about 2.5 to 3 mm. success, fun too, but they have zero keel for riding on an air bearing, so if there's a breeze its getting blown around. pool noodle isn't an inflatable skirt so it's a little more stable and a lot less expense+effort to replace if/when it gets shredded. really need to build new, same but larger footprint.
the scratch built tiny whoov is actually more fun, just a bit of foam board 4.25 x 7.5" round nose 5/8" radius rear corners (painted to waterproof) with skirt made from 7mm thick closed cell packaging foam. the mode1 transmitter controlled (so lift/throttle+yaw/steering are on the right hand stick) eachine E010 was kinda wimpy as a quadcopter, but about perfect for a tiny whoov hovercraft and a really easy build, even with inverting the motors and props, swapping motors around so they'd be rotating the correct directions (CW/CCW). lift motors are topside, thrust motors are forward... good and bad about that, good that the lift motors are up away from water and thrust motors being forward is nicer looking.... bad is it puts the thrust pressure against the plastic cap brushes end of the little 6x15mm coreless motors... then again its a lot shorter skirt (3/4" tall) and less frontal area resistance might run a little faster. packaging foam skirt is a good bumper and guarantees that it'll float. if someone got creative, something like this could be made to look like a pint sized Star Wars land speeder, soda bottle windshield?

yup, scratch building is where i started, 1/2A control line building/flying when I was 8. oh hey today the "Doomsday Bug" got a light bar in front. stock front bumper mounts screw to the outsides of the frame rails, dog legged outward, the 4 round light unit's brackets clamped right over for 3 sided contact, drill 1 small hole sideways each end (from underneath) and 1 screw each end landed it solid. looks great works great, not inconvenient like Doomsday body always disconnecting and reconnecting body lights, because they're frame mounted.

way off topic but just messed with another hobby this morning.
1 cup soy sauce, about 1/3 cup brown sugar, 1 heaping tablespoon garlic powder.
microwave hot and stir together, inject the turkey with that stuff, baste with it too when.
store hasn't had teriyaki marinade with pineapple for months now, so I tried this and YUP!
