  • The built environment is a massive contributor to climate change. To achieve a net zero and nature-positive future, it's high time for the building industry to cut its environmental footprint.
Arup and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation asked Squint to convey complex and often misunderstood concepts of the circular economy in the context of the built environment.
In response, Squint/Opera developed a film that effectively illustrates Arup's Circular Building Design Toolkit. This toolkit amalgamates sustainability strategies, development case studies, and green tech tools for designing circular buildings.
Result? Reduced waste and carbon for a healthier planet and healthier people.
Our narrative needed to be clear and concise to engage a diverse audience, including policymakers, developers, investors, architects, designers, project managers, contractors, and suppliers.
Thus, we tapped into the power of animation, a potent visual medium, to convey the film's message. Simply and beautifully highlighting the circular economy's four key pillars, making the concept easily understandable for a broad audience.
