A ride aboard one of Edmonton Transit's now retired BBC Trolley Coaches. This was recorded in April 2009 a month before ETS ceased Trolley Bus operations.
My father drove these trolleys when he was working with Edmonton Transit. He loved these buses! He was with ETS for 14.5 years but he drove trolleys from 2000 to 2009 til they retired these buses April of 09. He was rewarded as Trolley Driver of the month in 2006! 😊😊 Yes I miss these buses desparately!! 😢😢😢
Hell, every city that once had trolley coaches should have kept them. According to my research, only seven North American cities still treasure their trolleys. One of these is Vancouver. What a crying shame.
I occasionally have the chance to drop by the facility where they store the last few of these. Still neat even standing still.
