Your van is looking great, love the white and gray. The design for the bed - genius! It may not matter depending on what you have to go in the space - the center divide you have in the above cab storage may be in the way of whatever you want to put in there. Since you used one door, that space won't show like it would if you had two doors. I have a linen closet that has that bar in the way - towels, sheets, storage containers everything is a pain to maneuver to fit on the shelves. Oh yes - almost forgot, that door needs a handle - white will be a pain to keep clean.
I am currently watching your van videos. Looking into all the ways to do a conversion. I wanted to thank you for making them. now i off to see the bed build
Watched all and am up to date! Incredible van build. I am deciding on vans and this really helps with all the options that are available. Thanks for sharing!
Nice job on everything! Getting some good ideas for my van build and much appreciate your posted vids... Mr Clean makes these amazing eraser pads that might be just the thing to keep your white painted surfaces clean. I know it removes pencil marks so it might work for other applications as well.
yes, One long door with those hydraulic bars to hold it up with a handle, and get rid of the middle piece. It would be so much easier to put and get stuff in and out of your shelf. Nice looking though.
Loving the build, it is giving me plenty of ideas for when I eventually do mine. You should definitely put a handle on the upper cabinet door because it will help keep the door from getting dirty from fingerprints (it's white, its gonna get dirty!) when opening and closing it.
Can you help me? Love your videos, I also have a Transit Connect, looking to add a shelf above the front seats. Where did you connect to the frame? How did you join the materials (rivets, weld, screw, etc). Thanks in advance.
Hi Josh I have a project to camperize my Ford Connet and I wanted to know if you have any plans or the measurements of this cabin. It would be very helpful to me. Very good work. Thank you
Great job again. Just curious - do you think the existing lip for the overhead will bear the weight from the new cabinet plus the items you store in it? Also, I didn't see that you had a toilet in your original video - will you be making space for one?
Hi Josh, I really like your Van Conversions - very impressing! I also have a Ford Tourneo Connect and actually think about overhead storage cabinet like you built one. Do you have any measures or sketches for this one? Thanks a lot and have a good time! Stefan
You are doing a great job. You might want one of those lights in your new cabinet.

I watch a lot of van build videos and your build is so much better than some guys 4th and 5th attempt. Great job so far it looks amazing.
In my rear view mirror really appreciate it! Glad to see people are liking the build!

looking awesome so far!
Great idea of creating a storage cabinet above the car seats.

kupshi k good call!
That was going to be my suggestion too - the white will get dirty fast.
Nice work🍺😎👍

Awesome job you could put one of those little late in your cabinet in the front there
Hi Josh! Love your build, i was wondering, do you have a link for those battery lights with remote? thanks!

What year TC is this?
Is it hard to reach all the way to the back of the overhead shelf?

Toilett? Lmao. Our toilets are a bucket with trash bag liners.
lookin good pizza hut logo that's awesome lol
I love the work your doing on your van. Can I ask, did you remove the original plastic overhead unit before you did your build? Cheers
Do the seats swivel, or is there a kit? Also why no cabin partition? Are you going to stealth camp in the van?

Excellent job! What state are you in?
Hi Josh,
What material did you use for the bottom of the overhead cabinet?
It’s indoor / outdoor carpeting! Just wrapped some plywood with it and I was good to go!
where did you get the portable lights from and what are they called ?
Do you manage to find them out?
ad a handel and a hook on the ceiling so you can hold the door open
Very clean build. Do you know what all of this is going to cost you?
Scott Beisel not just yet but I plan to do a video on the overall cost of the whole conversion!
I go to construction sites for free items. Try it
Start of every video "I forgot to film ...'
Just install a cabinet strut. You only need one. Problem solved....
