Building a 18’ long trestle, using “ former” split jaw bents and roadbed, with a dearth of instructions.Oh yes, it’s on a slight grade, and curve. Challenging. Replaced a wooden trestle, 15 years old, so the curves aren’t exactly/ hardly the same. LGB rail. Time to place rail, found my track bender, last box top shelf, anchored the shelf for 14 years, as layout was mature, but time, and weather change things. Thanks for the explanation, , a great help. Will report back, as now I can bend the rails to exactly match the trestle, and eliminate the tensions of belly bent curvatures on the trestle. Although I haven’t tried it yet, plan to use sections of LGB 18000, and 16000 track as templates, noting the MM# on the guage, to insure consistency if curvature. Should work. Jim Neighbor
Nice I finally understand how to use it!
Glad I could help!

How is your project going? I would recommend our 6' flex track, either in brass or nickel plated brass. It works great!
Thanks for showing the rail bender in use. Seems simple enough to use with great results. Many thanks my friend.🚂🚃🚃🚃
Thank you!
