Think the story has changed a bit over the years. It was originally told that he was swimming across the river near the Albion Hotel. Which is actually quite feasible.

Nice to see you uploading again. Would love to see more. Me and my grandfather like watching your videos on the tv and going down to anaconda and looking at all the gear they have. I would like to bump into you either at work or fishing. Sadly I live in outback NT and there is no fishing other than spangled grunters and only after it rains and the river flows. So when school holidays are back on in December and January I'm coming down and it's summer witch is good for fishing. I was there in winter this year and it sucked. We only had one session were we cout fish and it was at port norlunga jetty we cout 6 different species. But I'm really excited to come back in summer witch should be good.

Your in Sydney that's my local, I've caught some nice Bass in there, even caught a 38cm Bass on a Cicada topwater lure in that part of the river, cracking vid mate.

That's a good spot for sure especially if you are local, like I am, even good old earth worms for bait get hit.
Edit, I've caught bream in the section of fresh, they probably used the fish ladders to get up from the brackish water

Parrammatta looks a bit different to the last time I was there. Bass I didn't know they were there, nice catch! Thanks for the slingshot trick to unhook from snags :)
