I would just like to thank you for this bit of info. I'm sure a lot of people already knew about it, but i've just started loving monk tank recently and this bit of info is so good. Being able to just stand there basically invincible is an incredible feeling. I look forward to your next video and hope it is just as useful.
I love your videos about brewmaster monk alot man! They helped me alot becaus I am tanking in myhtic+ content with my brewmaster (was WW) since our main tank stopped playing WoW for a while. I already knew quit a bit about BM, but you have closed the gap between sometimes struggling and chaos into solid gameplay with my Monk :) Thanks alot and keep up the good work, especially this video learned me something really interesting!
I've recently switched from Mistweaving to Brewmaster after my guild's guardian druid swapped alliance and these guides are making the approach and mastery of brewmaster feel a lot more in my reach than it previously was. I've recently got comfortable enough to switch my talents from Light Brewing to Black Ox Brew, and I'm hoping to improve a lot more watching these guides. The wowhead and icy-veins guides never seem to click with me for some reason.
Could you possibly do a bear tank video of you doing a Skittish affix mythic plus dungeon? I have a bear tank and I struggle with aggro which I'm sure is a thing? Just would like to see how you held up with your bear tank! Love your videos
Clay Riddle I main guardian. several options on this bring a rogue and/hunter for tricks of trade and misdirection. you can also have your dps give you 4-5 seconds of alone time with the mobs before they start face melting them, also take talents and gear that will increase your dps without losing to much survivability. you produce 75% less aggro. it's a lot like the three sunder rule from back in the day.
I never noticed that. Now I am really invincible. I got the jewel legendary 4 days ago (which is delaying your stagger for another 3 seconds so 13 seconds stagger instead of 10 seconds) and I am not dying. I did a +14 Darkheart yesterday with pulling the half instance and I where under 35% HP the hole time now I have the 'exploit' ^^ Did you noticed that when you leave the fight that your necrotic stacks disappear? The affixes this week are easy.
Just not a fan at all of not being able to AoE whenever I want. Everything AoE ability is on CD. I love the druid for that especially. Brewmasters just aren't very good compared to better tank classes. I do like the role fantasy though, being able to stagger damage and what not, but it does lack some things I enjoy on other tanks. Oh, and movement! Monks do have amazing movement, but without a constant AoE ability off CD it's counterproductive.
keg smash is 8 sec and the artifact is way too long of a cd, as well as fire breath on a 8 sec cd. too many cd's compared to other tanks that have no cd's like guardians. there's nothing more annoying than a bunch of mobs being pulled when your aoe is constantly on CD. i hate that. for instance, i tanked arcway and the room with all the spiders that are being pulled and clumped up you have to wait for aoe to come off cd and run around tagging them individually in the mean time. annoying.
+Thwompthing You can run Black Ox statue for the add pickup for examples like Arcway. You can also choose Rushing Jade Wind which has a CD but the duration of the spell is as long as the CD so you can have 5-6sec worth of bear's swipe aggro with one GCD cast.

Great video, really cool mechanic for brewmasters. Keep em comin Keg!

Thanks for your work Keg :)
Haha did a Mythic + with you last night - thanks for the tips (and smooth run)
Hey Keg, could you please do a video where you suggest the best Monk itemisation and talent setup for the various M+ affixes?

Ok awesome, thanks for the tips!
I cant get this to work, the orbs do spawn under me but they wont heal me until i move.
Inb4 7.2 hotfix for sure.
I never noticed that.

+CMP Music Germany Yea they changed necrotic a bit so that affix is even easier for monks now. :)
song in the background?
nice!! thank you!! work in 7.5.2?
zoovoo 7.2.5 not 7.5.2
I want your UI so bad!
same video as enigma :/ only late
Both of them were late af compared to when cornertanking actually got popular, so what's the problem?
Worst tank class in the game. Play-style sucks pretty bad compared to all the other tanks.
+Thwompthing Then it's just not for you. Playstyle is great

Thwompthing rofl man ! We have rushing jade wind for aoe .. and a 6 sec CD on abilities isnt that much to complain about
