I don't think so. It has to be an extract or alcohol that will evaporate and leave a shiny look on the gold drips. If you are using the other method with candy melts, you could add some oil to the melted white chocolate or candy melts to thin them out to a dripping consistency, and paint the drips gold after they set. I hope this helps.
I use Americolor super black food coloring gel. To get it really dark, I heat up a small amount of the buttercream in the microwave and add it to the rest of the batch. I also mix it a day before use to give it enough time to darken. Thanks for watching!
What happen in long hours? If i made the cake the night before the event and its been sitting in the fridge overnight.. does the gold drip gets dry and run along the board? Or does it stay at is it? Also is the whipped cream not going to absorb the gold?
This is absolutely beautiful!!!

Good evening, what kind of cream do you use to frost the cake, is it butter cream or something else? Thank you for the answer.
It's American buttercream. Thanks for watching!
@@laurasirresistibletreats. I thank you
Pls can I use edible spirit instead
Yes
Very beautiful....did you use butter cream to cover the cake???
Thank you so much! Yes, I did.
Can groundnut oil or melted butter be used in replace of lemon extract

Hi
Cake what size?
7 inches
@@laurasirresistibletreats. Thank you!
How you make dark black colour cream??
I use Americolor super black food coloring gel. To get it really dark, I heat up a small amount of the buttercream in the microwave and add it to the rest of the batch. I also mix it a day before use to give it enough time to darken. Thanks for watching!
Hi does the drips crack? Also does the lemon extract makes the cake taste off?
No, it doesn't crack, and the lemon extract evaporates so it doesn't make the cake taste off.
Beautiful cake. How many inches is it?
Thank you! It's 7 inches.
Is tarah se koi bhi color ki drip bana sakte h?
Yes, any metallic color. Thanks for watching!
What happen in long hours? If i made the cake the night before the event and its been sitting in the fridge overnight.. does the gold drip gets dry and run along the board? Or does it stay at is it? Also is the whipped cream not going to absorb the gold?
The gold drips stay in place overnight in the fridge. I have only used it on buttercream, so I'm not sure how it would work with whipped cream.
@@laurasirresistibletreats. Thankkk you Laura ❤️
that is not gold
Ok, then what is it?
Beautiful ❤
Thank you
