2021! My dad played this song almost everyday when I was a kid and I could sing every word though am not a kikuyu. My prayer today is a cry to God for our generation to sing in truth and spirit and avoid fame for money!
How many of us remembered this song from akina Terence??it has brought back good, old memories when we were young and this was my mum's fav song.Such a powerful song.May her soul continue resting in peace 🙏. LEGEND ❣️
Every time I listen to this I feel like crying and now Jerusalema Kikuyu version has brought me back here.. continue resting in peace mum. Your songs hits todate
Grew up listening to this song and not understanding. I am 36 now and this coming Sunday I will be preaching on revelation 21 - the inspiration for this song. May God be praised and may He help us to stay prepared and ready for the new Jerusalem by the power of His Holy Spirit and the free favour of His beloved Son Jesus Christ
Look at how meek these people are, surely for God's work to sail through even in our status quo era or digital standard times, We either get meek or we have nothing at all.... The words are golden and so meek. Emotional song.
2022… safari ya wiki you haijakuwa rahisi. Back in 2011 I joined high school hardly did I know it was going to be my worst experience; an experience that would lead me into the path that The Lord planned for me and for the rest of my family to turn to God. Now I am awaiting my graduation on 1st Dec. Thank you God
After watching I rushed here immediately, subscribed, liked and shared,, This is my all time beautiful childhood memories, Listening to them as I growing up was phenomenal

I may look very young but I was brought up with these songs back in Kiambu. Those days... Ile umaskini ilikuwa imetupiga acha ninyamaze. But Who's God??!
Sometimes when you want to follow and for us who are not avid speakers or merely if you want to the "praise" you can change the speed of the song by the gear wheel and then choosing Custom and inputting your desired speed.. Usually listed to 'fast' gospel songs and make them worship songs by slowing them down. Again this song is so sweet and am sure will never grow old. So, thanks Mama and son. I chose the custom speed by just lowering the time signature by .05 to 0.95
Been listening to u for more than 10 years from Los angeles. I remember we spoke on the phone one time after i called you. Sad to learn of your demise mum....you had such a beautiful voice...ni tukonana iguru. God bless u. ...Anaheim, CA 92804
Continue resting in perfect peace Mommy. Jerusalem is your home now and forever. You sang in the spirit, ministered to us, edified the body of Christ and you rested. It's well
Every time I listen to this song I remember how mum used to love her songs. And during her funeral arrangements their songs were played non stop. I listen to Mother and Son songs with nostalgia.
