You can double that effect. Flatten a nickel on the railroad tracks, then add the two split rings and hook. You get a 5¢ spoon.

When I restored my new ‘65 boat I didn’t put any seats in it. 14’ long and 42” v-haul flat bottom. I didn’t want to move around the seat so what I did was just build benches and I use them Stadium seats for when I’m to my spot and wanting to relax and kick back. I have freedom of movement. Also I’m tall and long legged and found myself just sitting on the seat folded down but without them I love it.
Love the handle hack! Going to look in to getting some of them.

You can make lures out of bottle caps but when you bend them add a couple of bbs then fold them together and it makes a rattling lure

Buy 'fender' washers at Lowe's or Home Depot, heck, they have really big ones too. As always, great idea's for down right next to nothing! Free even!
My favorite thing about hand warmers is walmart has a huge box as soon as u walk in. All on sale in spring. Load up n store em for the following winter. U can get like 2 or 3 for a buck. Get like 40 for 15 20 bucks

Cheap power pole for small jon boats:
Take off the transom mount bracket off a broken trolling motor and stick a long wooden pole in it. Worked great for me and can double as a push pole in shallow and dense vegetation.

You could do the same thing with a bottle cap as you did with the quarter, and you can add some beads inside before crimping to make them rattle. Made a few myself and works ok

So on your idea of the butt warmer I do a lot of ice fishing and winter camping and what I bought was the replacement inserts for car seat heaters they run on 12 volt they run on 30 watts and 60 watts I believe you can hook them up to your fish finder battery and it will work for many hours a pair of them which are four panels are about $28 so you can do four seats and separate the two they work great I've used them underneath my sleeping system for winter camping and you stay nice and toasty
Your idea is great
And I should have said they are 30w for the 2 panels total, so 15 and 30 on high for 1. I use the 2 for under my sleeping bag and power it with my Rockpals 350w, use it all night and takes about half my power or less.

More great stuff! My favorite still today was the Cable Cuff PRO's! you had on a video. I got 4 after you showed them. I use those things all the time! All the hacks are good. Yes winter is COLD. Just got some SKI/Snowmobile clothes to try. I wanted thin and warm. We shall see... I like that seat idea. Keep the butt warm! The handle fix is cool also. Braid has cut mine up.

Great hacks
I went to goodwill and bought some used dinner spend cut them off at the end of the handle drilled holes put slip ring split rings in them put a hook on the bottom and a swivel on the top and took a part in my little Divet sent it so it would reflect light and I paid $.25 for the Spohn I bought a 10 pack of hooks at bass pro shop for $2.87 and two packs of split rings for $2.45 a pack and they work have used him to catch several fish
I don`t know about defacing U.S. Currency but it is a neat idea .

Instead of a coin, you can substitute a bottle cap. It already has some color on it, and you can bend it over on itself and put in a couple of BBs to make it rattle. Who doesn't have a beer bottle cap rolling around in the boat?

Cut that tubing down the middle seam so that you have two single tubes. Cut the single tube into about a 1/2" section and then put it over the hooks of your spinnerbaits and swimbaits to keep yourself from being stabbed in your tacklebox.

I would like to see your version of my rodholder holding a 20 inch long PVC and the top part of an H on the end with a larger piece of PVC between the H uprights which acts as a roller. Its Great for holding a trotline while you are baiting the hooks. Rod_Holder___________[___] Its a great third hand and sure beats the trotline moving through your hand and hooking you with an 8/0 circle hook. I fasten the PVC into the rod holder with hose clamps. The Cabelas rod holder fits around the PVC like a glove. Then when your done just take it out of the rod holder base and throw it in the box with your river anchor.

Use the slugs punched out of metal electrical boxes to make lures instead of coins. Any electrician could give you a bunch of them.

they also make a heat a seat that has a special material that when you sit on it it heats up for about 6 to 8 bucks

Kentucky was great . I got the biggest ones I'm pretty sure . They shrink down to 1/3 the size I think . Really depends on the rod too

Made my first quarter bait in 1979. Punched the hole in it with my swiss army knife and took the treble hook of of a shad rap and put kit on it. Cautght 10 bass and 20 Sun fish on it that day. I showed it to some friends and told them it was a quarter bait. LOL

Is it really a .25 cent lure when the swivels & hooks & split rings also cost money? LOL Just messin' with you. I've made bottle cap lure like this. I take some feathers and wrap it on the hook with string & some of the wife's fingernail polish. Adds a little color & motion to the lure.

say about your quarter lure make i joke lure for a goo
my man save your quarters, go to the thrift store with about 4 of them quarters, by some used spoon, break of the handles, drill your holes add your hooks n stuff.... also, to replace old rod handles, go to your local home improvement store, either in the electrical area or where the copper tube is is a self adhesive black foam for pipes, i use some electric tape on the ends, but i tell you what, you want a good comfy grip, there ya go... and finally, walmart sells glow in the dark latex paint, 2 things you can do with it are, 1) paint the end of your rod, then you can light up the rod tip with a decent flashlight for a bit n it will glow for about an hour with about a 5 minute charging time. 2) take a few drops of the paint an put them in a balloon, put your desired amount of air into the balloon tie it shake it, hit it with the flash light n boom, glow bobber... i been doin that about 30 years now. i wouldnt be surprised if i was the guy that started the glow stick balloon. when i first did it people laughed at me. said they thought it was a UFO prank or somethin. and the eva foam is pronounced E.. V... A... like your sayin the letters. but i like how you say it better, you got better personallity. thats what i really appreciate about your videos. keep up the good work and ty for your time.

And dont throw away those little plastic connectors that come with the glow stick bracelets. I use them to make sinker slides. Take some of the same wire you have or even ask a construction worker for some scrap electrical wire "he give you some". Make a tight loop around the plastic connector. leave yourself some extra wire hanging to wrap around your sinker. And you have a DIY sinker slide.
