I've noticed a lot of people talk about how Ally speaks over her a lot, but tbh this is how me and my friends talk when we're really excited about something/comfortable with each other
Samee I don’t think she realizes and it’s probably cause she is comfortable and gets excited
this episode was good but aly seriously needs to stop speaking over her guest and interrupting them when they are talking
It is a good thing you made this comment because Ally might not even realize she is doing it. I pray that she sees this comment, and the Holy Spirit convicts her so that she no longer speaks over her guest. I used to have the same issue of speaking over people, but the Holy Spirit is working on me to not do that anymore. I need to be a better listener. I, unfortunately, also do this a lot. Mine is ADHD and poor impulse control. I’m working on it though.
I also struggle with this. It's excitement to participate in the conversation and fear of forgetting what you had to contribute 😂 Lord transform our minds and hearts!

I thought I was the only one to notice this because in every other podcast I’ve seen with her she is always interrupting someone and not letting them finish their sentence. I know she gets excited when speaking but it’s respectful to let people finish their statement.
I am currently around 25min of the episode and I see there is one thing you seems to miss :
Yes we have authority upon the demons, BUT it's not by ourselves...
We have authority *in the name of JESUS* !
And that is so important : we should not talk directly to Satan by purselves but always "in the name of jesus christ" bc it is in His mighty name that we have authority

Then I feel like not watching 😔 I still do of course because I love you. I just wanted to let you know this because I know it makes others anxious as well. Great Topic for discussion, I have come to realize that the devil has authority over us through sin. I have noticed that when I have lived a life of sin or continue in sin the devil attacks me in dreams etc

I noticed when I found conviction about something, like say gossip, and I tell God that I repent and am going to try to do better, I feel like I’m hit with a million more opportunities to gossip and if I’m not careful, it’s worse than before! It reminds me of when Jesus talks about how a demon was cast out and the person cleaned out their mind and when the demon came back, he found it all cleaned and brought 7 more demon buddies with him. ETA: Y’all totally talk about this and I just hadn’t got there yet!
Omgoodness, the Carman video was epic. Carman was one of the first CCM artists that made you feel like a POWERFUL Christian, like a warrior in the Army of God.

Ally, as George Janko was convicted by Angela’s word concerning cussing( dropping the F bomb), your interjecting the - freaking bomb comes desperately close to the F bomb, meditate on these words for Gods glory
Im not sure if this is a western culture thing, but for us, we do not let our feet touch books, as its knowledge..especially the Bible! The Bible was resting against Ashley's feet. Its so disrespectful. Please be careful guys. Also, im sure Ally sees the comments about speaking over her guests but still does ntg about it. The part where Ally mentioned about the devil in music industry - Ashley was talking then, but Ally just continued to speak over Ashley until she said what she wanted to say.. The fact that while editing the video, Ally still zoomed the video in on what she is saying, despite Ashley talking shows how much Ally just want herself to be heard. Its such a sin to keep wanting to talk and be heard and not being patient. I prefer it better when Ally do not bring on guests.. or perhaps learn frm the GGB podcast. Ari and Angela speak so well giving each other space and not interupting always... Not sure if Ally will ever stop interupting and speaking over others. Hope she does. As its getting to be annoying now.

Ally is still new to having guests on the podcast and just like when talking with a friend about something you’re both passionate about it’s easy to get excited and interrupt, so she most likely doesn’t even see that she does it, or even think anything of it!! i just wanted to say be mindful about that because while it may be annoying to you she may of just needed someone to remind her on a platform to give the guests room to speak :)))

I always enjoy when Ashley Jones is a guest. I felt like at there was a moment where you ladies made it seem like being a Christian is easy but living a godly life in a broken world full of sin & hatred towards Christian’s can be tough. We struggle doing certain things cause at the end of the day we are human. But that’s why we need Jesus everyday. That’s why we need to have a relationship with God. But even with that we are still going to struggle & fail. And that’s okay bcuz the grace of God is wonderful & He welcomes us with open arms each & everytime. Sometimes it can feel like work bcuz we are fighting our flesh to not sin & follow Jesus. Some have it easier & are stronger while others have it harder & have a bigger fight. And both ways are okay bcuz we all are children of God
May He be glorified through it all!
3:35 ish.. i wanted to say that’s good words bc recently i have been feeling like i need to cleanse my house bc i’ve heard random noises but only when i am home alone and i’ve told a few people about it but in the back of my mind i’m like “i should stop talking about it bc it’s giving whatever is in my house power over me” which is not true

Hello 🤍 recently read through the following books of the Bible and it really spoke to my heart about speaking of deities that I was completely unaware of. I’ll post them but definitely check out the chapter and the context to understand more of what was going on.

2 Peter 2:10-12
10 Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.11 Whereas angels, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord.
12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not;
I've been struggling for months wrestling with faith. Ive followed witchcraft for years. When I try to learn anything biblical the information feels dark and demonic. Its like the devils got his hands all over the word of God, twisting it. The amount of terrible things done in the name of Jesus scares me. But when y'all speak it feels safe. Please keep making videos they are feeding my soul!

When you guys started talking about “specific prayers” I started internally clapping because before I met my husband I was being specific with my request to God, up to his height and eye colour. And man oh man God came through and gave me exactly what I asked for. From his looks, to his personality, to his family, I prayed for it all. All my non Christian friends were telling me I should lower my expectations and I kid you not, 2 months later I met my husband. And I just said to them “don’t ever doubt God”.
This is soo good. Thank you. I have been struggling with the spirit of fear all my life and ive had enough of it. I dont want it to hinder my journey with Jesus. Thank you guys. This was a great reminder and conviction

Stopppp. I watched this because it stopped at 1:11 and the lord shows me 1’s and Ashley quoted hebrews 11:1 (faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.)!!!!! The lord is so kind haha! Keep exposing the enemy and sharing the good news! I love being able to watch these videos and having sisters in the faith!!

I found myself asking, is this Ally’s podcast or Ashley’s? 😂. I really enjoy your episodes where it’s just you, talking to us with the Holy Spirit. You have so much knowledge that I enjoy watching every step of your journey, even if you are “newer” to the faith. I mean NO harm to Ashley, she is a great guest and I love how much scripture she has memorized! Just want to remind you how much YOU have to offer your listeners as an individual 💝🙏
I get your sentiment, but it’s such a blessing to have a guest on the podcast because they bring something to it and you never know how much wisdom they spoke to Ally that day!! Either way, they were both amazing 😊

It is a blessing to have guests - I see so many comments loving that Ashley was back on, I think she does have a lot to offer us and to Ally - I have many reasons for why I commented what I did and overall it’s just my opinion that I’m sharing and I personally enjoy Ally’s individual episodes. 🙏

We arent supposed to laugh at the devil. Yes we have to power to rebuke him and we should always fight against him but we should not talk bad about him because we were the same and through god the father and jesus we were saved. Even michael the angel never spoke bad about him he said in jude 1:9 The lord rebuke you! He let god judge him. Because we cannot do that. And we should do the same.

Love this podcast and what you’re doing Ally❤️ I just wanted to ask, in terms of what you said about laughing at the enemy, isn’t this what 2nd Peter 2:11 talks about? Maybe I’m misunderstanding this verse, but maybe it’s not out of fear of the enemy, but of fear of saying something that is wrong.
2 Peter 2:10: “blaspheme majestic beings Probably refers to high-ranking, powerful beings in the spiritual realm. The same Greek phrase used here is found in Jude 8. The phrase in Jude and 2 Peter emphasizes that unlike angels, who sensibly refrain from speaking against higher-ranking beings, false teachers presumptuously slander the words or authority of spiritual beings. They assume authority they do not have.”

I absolutely love your videos and find them extremely helpful and am so glad that we have some great Christian role models for our daughters in a world of darkness. The only thing i disagree with is that a Christian cannot be demonically possessed. I work in deliverance ministry and I can assure you that it happens all the time.

Such a good episode! I've been loving this podcast, and it has helped me so much in my walk! Can you go into a little bit more specifics about praying specifically within God's will? How do I start? I guess it seems a little confusing. Like, how do I make what I want, to be within God's will? I hope that makes sense. If you could go a bit more in-depth on that, I would really appreciate it. If you're comfortable maybe you could give an example?

Its more like asking to have your heart desire the things God does. our wants are not always right so just ask to want the things God wants for you. all about purification of the heart! anything that doesnt bring him glory is not his will. Gods will in terms of you personally and his plan for your life is something only he can reveal to you through prayer but to be inside Gods will in everyday life is to repent and be a image of christ to the world

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. NEVERTHELESS DO NOT REJOICE IN THIS, THAT THE SPIRITS ARE SUBJECT TO YOU, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven" (Luke 10:18-20). I agree that we are commanded to expose the enemy, cast him out, and trample over him. However, these verses, clearly state that although we have the authority to do this and are commanded to do this, it is not something that we should rejoice in. I don't think Christ has called us to laugh at and mock the enemy which is very different from exposing who he is and the vile things he has done and will continue to do.

Quick story, last year I was waiting for the Lord to finish preparing my new home so my son and I could leave the narcissist I was living with. I could not only feel but on occasion I could see the 🛡 in my mind as my ex would spew his crap at me. They were legit darts in my mind. God is so good and His promises are never failing.
My aunt prayed for a red car stick shift in her price range. She got it...just saying prayer is sooo powerful
Ally, you said you deal with temptation. I think its good for you to know you can pray that you will not be tempted. I pray this every morning. Pray against temptation.
This is so so good! I love the reminder about praying specific prayers. Praying in any way allows us to encounter our Father, but dang those specific prayers help us see Him move like the miracle worker He is.

I sometimes struggle listening to when scripture is being read bc I read the KJV and there’s so much words that are changed that change the perspective of the verse and you pay attention to something else.. but I love the love for Jesus❤

4:26 i was confused about this cause i could see how that sounded accurate but it’s only accurate when you’re talking about jesus in 1 Thessalonians 5:2, 2 Peter 3:10 that the Lord will come like a thief in the night. if i am missing something though where it does say that the devil comes in “like a thief in the night” let me know cause i totally get what they are saying but all i remember about the devil being referred to as Psalm 17:12 he is like a lion hungry for prey ready to attack
I noticed that as well, I would love for someone show where this is. They did mention the enemy coming like a thief in the night a couple times.

i'm 5 min times, the comment about the camera, is fear and that person and so MANY PEOPLE are so so so afraid to walk with Jesus bc they have been attacked or sin, and i remend these people.. cause Jesus is our coventent , he's holy blood! Btw when Jesus fasted in the wilderness, the devil tempted him but also said the word cause he knows it, and like i said Jesus was well fed by the bread and water of God and replied with the word of God and the third time, he said " Don't tempt thy God", When we know the enemy has no power he shall flee" - "You have been given authority to trample on scorpions and serpents and upon all the power of the enemy; and NOTHING shall hurt you ", Fear is the devil, hold it captive and cast it out in Jesus name,
