One thing about we Africans, we love a good wedding celebration especially when it’s the daughters. To them, this is more like a wedding than welcome home party. I love my people ❤
As Africans we have the freedom and our customs allows us to Express our love/ emotions by holding hands with loved ones. Is part of human existence. Freedom to Express love and laughter,kindness and love is paramount in African cultures.
I believe she is also reassuring her husband publicly by holding his hands. He is in a different country with different cultural perspectives. I also noticed back home they never seem to hold hands or show physical affection, perhaps it’s a cultural thing. I love this family they are truly blessed.
You’re spot on, in some tribes when we take our partners homes, it’s on you to pay attention and reassure them that they are loved and welcome to this side of the family. More so if there is a difference in languages, this is often a sign to show that “we are happy and we are a united front in this marriage.”
I followed Rose from WeChat and then Xiao Hongshu, and then here😂. I teach international students in China, and many of them are from Africa. Very happy to see real life in Africa. Rose is a very lovely woman😺

@@WILMA_ Culturally, PDA is not the norm in Chinese culture. Working hard in doing things for each other and giving gifts seem to be the regular way of showing love. Oh and I also notice through dramas, that sharing food is definitely one of their main love language. It’s good that in a different environment, they can express their love even more but also respectfully adapt to their own back home.

Uganda is very productive, a lot of food comes from there because of the favourable weather and soil.Winston Churchill Britain's Premier called it the pearl of Africa.
