You are still eligible for it and depending on where you live you can claim it. I mean if you stay in the EEA (European Economic Area) or in a country which has social security agreement with Belgium, you can submit your application to the local social security authority. In the other case, if you stay in a country that has no social security agreement with Belgium, you have to submit the application in person depending on whether you are a self employed, civil servant or employee for an organisation. I assume you are an employee of an organisation. So in that case, you have to submit your application in person to the Federal Pensions Service (FPS). They administer pensions for employees and civil servants, and also pays them to retired employees, civil servants and self-employed. You can find more information on the website of the FPS; The details of contacting them is below: Federal Pensions Service (available in French or Dutch) Bureau des Conventions internationales Tour du Midi 1060 Brussels Belgium info@sfpd.fgov.be Phone: 1765 (toll-free in Belgium) From abroad: +32 78 15 17 65 (toll number) Hope all this Information helps you 😊
We won't generalize it by saying either ways. If you are studying from a reputed institution and you also speak the local language then there is a very high probability of getting a very good job after your Masters.
Belgium has 3 languages - French, Dutch and German. Depending on where you stay the language requirement changes. In the north, people mostly speak Dutch due to the proximity to Netherlands. Similarly in the South people speak French due to the closeness to France. French and Dutch have almost equal speakers and German is spoken by about 1% population who live towards the East. Brussels is a bi-lingual region where people generally speak both French and Dutch. Hope this answers your query 😀
Hi - it’s difficult to suggest the salary. It depends on a lot of factors like the location even in the French speaking part, years of experience etc. My suggestion is to check with other pharmacists in that area.
Hey - There are a lot of jobs in the IT sector in Belgium. In some of them, they do not even need any French or Dutch language expertise. It would be better to check the Jobs section on LinkedIn to see what are the relevant positions in line with your skill set.

Can I get a job in Belgium if I have a BA LLB and LLM degree from India, and if I know French and English? Does knowing French enhance the chances of getting a job?
First of all - all the best for your study. There are more than enough requirements for engineering jobs as well. Our recommendation is to study the local language as well.
Mostly yes. Most of the part time jobs will be customer facing and you will need French/ Dutch skills. Having said that if you are able to get a backend jobs - working in warehouse etc., then you will face much less of a language issue.

Hello dear! Your company will have to sponsor your work permit. So if you find a job in Belgium and have the job offer then there are two ways to get the work permit. Either your company will sponsor it or will ask you to raise a work permit using the offer letter. The latter will cost you money. Check on the govt website about the cost of the work permit. Some of the companies are English speaking but mostly speak either Dutch or French! So you need to look out for such opportunities and the requirements. Hope this helps 😊

Hi Vivek, Thanks for reaching out! It is really important that you update your LinkedIn profile and only after that reach out to people who are already working in Europe. Best way forward is networking and asking them for referrals. Also keep a close eye on the companies for the relevant job postings. Honestly it is a little tough to apply for jobs if you do not have a work permit and most companies do not really sponsor your work visa for Europe. So best for you is networking.
Hi dear ❤️ Thanks for the question but unfortunately I do not have an answer to it. I do know that people drive Uber and other Taxis here but then there is a need for you to know the local language really well! Hope this helps.
Hello dear! There are many jobs available in Belgium. But you need to have a valid work permit to actually pursue any job in Belgium. Plus do master any one of the two languages - French or Dutch. Hope this helps! 😊
Hi there. Since we are not agents, our suggestion is to look for some authentic ones who can help you with your queries. Otherwise, it is better to look for jobs, and the employers can help with the visa process.
You're talking nonsense. The minimum wage in Belgium is imposed by law, according to the scale, linked to your employment. 4000€ it's an average, so big salaries make it go up. The median salary is 3800 excluding taxes, which is closer to reality. I don't know how you get to 13.92 months paid? The end-of-year bonus is not for everyone and it is taxed at 60%. Paid leave does not even represent one month's net salary. the 13th month paid is very very rare in Belgium. as you say, legal leave is 20 days in Belgium. 30 days is extremely rare. In general, overtime is not paid but must be recovered. some companies pay for these hours (highly taxed), but this is not the norm You are not talking about annual taxes... taxes are linked to your income and whether you have things to deduct for tax purposes (travel expenses, mortgage credit, pension savings, etc.). A couple without children who rent their house and live near their work will have to pay thousands of euros per year to the tax authorities.
Hey what we have mentioned has been our experience and experience of people in our circle. Whatever we have talked about has been driven from that focused on the financial services sector and the information technology sector. Other sectors/ businesses can have their own regulations. That doesn’t mean we are talking nonsense. That just means we have not talked about that particular industry.
You are correct on higher tax, though the % may vary depending on your salary. But honestly this situation is the same everywhere. Right now we are in Canada and we have the exact same issue. There is really nothing that we can do about the taxation, therefore, our goal should be to live/ enjoy in whatever we are earning.
Regarding your point on increase in refugees and pickpocketing, again that is absolutely true. Even during our time in Brussels since 2021 we saw a significant increase in many such incidents. All we can do is hope that the regulations in place become more strict so that such things do not happen.
No you cannot. Work visa process is triggered by your employer. You may pay for the fees and do the process but your employer will start that process. So you will need a job to get a work visa. Hope that clarifies.
