Loved seeing all of your projects and your beautiful quilt blocks are really coming along nicely. Ginger is so pretty and sweet-I love her! I am praying for peace in Ukraine, also. It is such a devastating situation and those precious children break my heart. Hugs, Nicole. Pam Miller
I loved seeing what you have been working on, always so much fun. I love your quilts and the quilts that you plan to make. I am getting ready to cut out a quilt that is a pattern from Jordan Fabrics called the Diamonds Quilt. I have learned a lot from watching Donna on Jordan Fabrics UA-cam tutorials. So much fun. Happy stitching, and hugs to Ginger too 🥰
Thanks Nicole for the lovely podcast…I admire both the stitching and quilting…Market patterns are so exciting this year…love the ones you purchased…Ginger looks so sweet at each of your postings…the Ukrainian people need all the help that the democratic nations can give them…praying for the Ukrainian people and the government leaders…wishing you the best and looking forward to seeing you soon❤️❤️
Love the WIPs you showed and new starts AND market haul! I also didn’t buy much so far…just a few pdf patterns from Luminous Fiber Arts that she released just before Market. The Humming of Bees and the two Shakespeare’s Peddler samplers you showed are on my “to buy” list! Your quilts are amazing! I love Jo Morten. I have kits from one of her club series from SEVERAL years ago that I need to finish. Hoping to get some time off this summer to work on some quilts. I agree that it’s hard to record videos right now with everything going on in Ukraine and elsewhere, but like you said stitching is one way to come together! It’s amazing how we’re able to form friendships across the globe through our love of stitching and other crafts. Looks like Ginger fell asleep…its always amazing to me some of the positions our kitties can relax into when they do that. Lol!
I always am excited when you post your videos. I love your projects. You have inspired me to go back to quilting. I had stopped because it was an activity I did with my mom and when she passed away three years ago it made me to sad and lonely. However watching your progress over the last year I finally feel like sewing again. Thank you.
I’m so sorry about your mom, Laura. I can understand why it was hard for you. I’m so glad you are getting back into though! Healing does take time. Lots of hugs! ❤️
Thank you Nicole, love your Flosstube ❣️ I agree, it is difficult to go about the day to day activities when so much suffering is going on. We have much to be grateful for and Stitching is a peaceful way to pass the time 💙🙏
Love the Samplers you are working on. The quilt with the brown reminds me of ones I seen as a kid in the 70's so i really love that. There is so much I love from the Market release I keep saying no finish what I have first......haha! we will see if I will break and buy some... Have a awesome day!!
Such a fun chat! After a day of playing in my sewing room with my fabric crumbs, I get to watch your video! Thank you for your inspiration, your art and positive energy!
I fell in love with the Coriander Christmas quilt about six months ago, but was late to every block of the month offering. I purchased some of the Coriander Christmas fabric on Ebay and was able to get some more from the quilt store "My Favorite Quilt Store". Cannot wait to start it. You inspired me a few months ago to start quilting, and am now taking an on-line course and watch FQS.
Needlework is my escape too. Love your wips and haul. Your quilts are more enabling to me lol they’re fabulous. Thanks for sharing. Thanks for sharing!!
I love the Jo Morton quilt you are doing. You’ve come such a long way in a pretty short time. So nice to see so much talent in a young person. Beautiful stitching too!
Check out Jean Farish’s Flosstube #72 at Fire Poppies. Great conversation with Susan and her shop partner. They will be relocating…. Love all your stitching Nicole!
I think that so many of us feel like you do. When such terrible things are happening in Ukraine it’s hard for us to feel like we should be enjoying ourselves. But, as you said, stitching is a way to calm our feelings of desperation. Thank you for sharing what you’re doing with us. It definitely helps. Stay well, Nicole. 💕
You expressed exactly how I’ve been feeling about Ukraine. That said I did enjoy watching your flosstube. You made some excellent choices from market! I went to the Dallas Quilt Show today and was inspired to start Lori Holts My Happy Place Kit after seeing it done in person, even though I working on the Heartfelt quilt too 💚😊. Never enough time. Take care, happy stitching and thanks for sharing your beautiful stitching & quilting! I almost forgot, I just completed all the Lori Holt project bags with the double zippers, so fun!!
I love your video as always. And I love seeing Ginger! How does she stay so calm. My cat can be mischievous when I get things out. 🤦🏻♀️ After watching, I already placed an order for some new charts and I am thinking about getting the Corey Yoder house quilt kit. It is so pretty! Thank you for sharing!
Great visiting with you again Nicole. Love all your WIPS. I absolutely love your Kkaleidacope quilt! Are you using the paper piecing? Thank you for sharing your quilting and stitching with us!!
Check my blog - www.nicolesneedlework.com and type “anniversaries of the heart” in the search bar. It should pull up the videos that I have talked about it.
Good Saturday morning. I always so enjoy catching up on what lovely stitch or quilt your working on. So in love with Lucy Calcutt, she is on my list... I saw Rejoice Evermore and put that one on my market list and now that I have seen Seasons of the Heart that is now on it also with possibly a couple more. I either have to start stitching more, faster or pull in the reins for more purchases....just might be a tad older than you and well....there is quilting, cross stitch, embroidery, applique..... I too am just so heavy hearted over the treachery of the Russian government to invade, bomb & kill the innocent. We have donated to Red Cross, I have bought patterns from Urkrainian designers....and prayed continually. Take care and enjoy the crazy weather we are having....Love ya

No, I’m just doing the regular piecing for the quilt.
Yes Nicole, l think all our hearts are with those poor people of Ukraine, so beyond SAD. Hard to enjoy, like you said. Just loved your charts
Love Ginger.
Your quilt blocks are so beautiful! Jo Morton is one of my favorites!!!
When you finish these cross-stitch projects what do you do with them?
Nichole, do you remember which video episode your Blackbird Anniversaries of the Heart were in?
Check my blog - www.nicolesneedlework.com and type “anniversaries of the heart” in the search bar. It should pull up the videos that I have talked about it.
How do you see stitching over two. Do you use a magnifier or what. Your work is simply beautiful
I use magnifying glasses.

Where do you purchase your pdf pattens. I can’t find the Breda G rejoice evermore
That pattern is not a PDF. I bought it at cross stitch shop. If you Google “With Thy Needle & Thread Rejoice Evermore” you should be able to find it.
