I find it ironic that when Rupaul loses his temper, it is newsworthy. RuPaul has made a forum for his people to flourish. Before he worked his literal ass off, from conception to bringing this show to the people, he has elevated every queen who has been associated with this show. It was the will of this man willing to put his face and reputation on the line that has enabled the worldwide phenomenon that is Dragrace. So is Ru allowed to lose her temper when things go wrong, Yes. And after choosing a queen over so many others, knowing the opportunities this queen will have going forward as a Ru girl. She has every right to be upset that said queen shows up on stage in an unaltered, off the rack dress. And read her she should!

Rupaul’s chiding was understandable. You schedule to fly overseas, wait in isolation for an uncertain period of time before you can even see the place you’ll be working at, only for someone to present H&M on stage, pretty much exactly as it was when purchased… no alterations of any kind, it IS a waste of time. There are queens thatve spent less than the price of a mall garment and presented something exceptional, and you didn’t even get a bag of rhinestones and a hot glue gun… I agree with what Ru said, not the delivery…👀

i dont mind weed smoking on set or anything, it can make you really focus'd or really creative and if you're like me and have ADHD and anxiety, you'd need that focus for a challenge. i dont think it gives anyone an advantage, if anything it evens the playing field for the queens out there like me who can't focus lol it also can give ideas for an outfit. how many times have we seen queens wandering around the room for ideas? yeah weed would help with that. could also possibly help with pains they have whether its from standing all day or a medical issue like willow has. weed also works kinda diff for everyone though. some people smoke every strain of weed and it feels the same to them while others feel each strain differently. for example blue dream makes this person sleepy but this other person is laughing it up because of it. im lucky too though because i dont get red eyes when i smoke. i see a lot of people with red eyes lately and im just like "hehe i wonder if they're high"
the viv's knitted dress is my fav from that runway. it would also be super warm in a cold country. like when we had that cold front christmas week? that dress would have been perfect for it. my only issue with wool is it's always scratchy so i can only wear it over other clothes. im sure my sensitive skin adds to the scratchiness of wool too. i dont think viv full on fainted but she was def woozy from it and thats when she was prob like "get this off me or im fainting". ive fainted before too and if its the same for everyone then theres a possibility of vomiting when you faint. as for the dress being 23 lbs, im a woman and i have some big tits, im not sure their exact weight but my god are they heavy and i have to wear them ALL THE TIME. i wanna say together they're between 12-15 lbs oh then on top of that add a full backpack when i was in high school. i hated those days so much.

i mean i agree with ru about H&M. this is a high stakes drag contest, not some podunk mountain town beauty pagent. you need to bring your A game and H&M clothes or any clothing off the rack just isn't up to par for a drag queen. unpopular opinion time but i feel like off the rack clothes are just for queens for wanna be a woman and not actually a drag queen. drag queens are big and loud and vibrant and clothing from macys isn't going to reflect that and if you're going to represent drag then you need to do it right or people wont understand it. if you wanna feel like an actual woman then maybe dont go on drag race, its not the place for you, you're not grandiose enough. go big or go home man, its your one shot. if you can't afford to buy clothes then look into learning to sew. its cheaper and you get custom stuff that no one else can get. the only issue would be to get a sewing machine that works but other than that learning to sew isn't expensive. people have the internet now all the time, look up tutorials on how to sew. granted sewing is only a part of it, you need to know how to design too and thats the real hard part. i know how to sew but i dont know how to design clothing at all. if you gimme a pattern i can make it but i can't make the pattern.
the ellie situation was just not only bad timing but the people involved were not even in the same room so neither party had any idea what was going on. i think her apology was good enough for what happened. people get so angry over misunderstandings which is why i try to explain myself really well but online its hard, my comments get really long because of it plus you can't tell inflections online so you can't tell if someone is saying something sadly, or madly, or jokingly, or sarcastically. people need to chill and talk calmly instead of instantly getting enraged and having fans attack n what not. also lets just say in that situation ellie was lying, all you have to do when you find out is be like "well im sorry i believed her and im sorry she felt she had to lie about it" and then just move on lol. people need to take responsibility more and accept their mistakes and admit it more. things would be better
