Fantastic demo. I bought the 100w head for gigging a few months back and it really is amazing - worth every penny. I’ve just ordered the smaller 30w for theatre pit work
I've been highly interested in these amps from the very beginning, but I can't find any local dealers in my state so I can't play one to try it out before buying.
You explained it well. I have the 4 switch foot pedal and need instruction how to get past the basics of the presets and save my own presets to the pedal. How do I find this info and how do I get your Easy Guide mentioned in the video? Thanks
Blackstar ID Floorboard :D Proud owner of the ID260, ID60H, and HT20 (versatile, small, valve, awesome ) :D ID floorboard... the idea being to get rid of the speaker box, and offer the ID TVP or Core engine in a more transportable format. The response from Blackstar UK was 'no R&D in this department'... which is cool... I can see Blackstar are busy making awesome stuff. Roll on 2018... The ID Core range kicks a*se (let's be honest... it leaves the M@rsh@ll Code and F@nder M@stang for dead... plus B@ss K series have plainly ripped this concept)... Can the brains trust @ Blackstar R&D foresee an ID Core or TVP floorboard?... light in weight, hardy chassis, dual inputs (switchable), stereo out, dual expression pedals built in, loop (sampler), tap tempo, freeze/hold effect on the reverb...all the super, super, extra super cool stuff a working muso can use... Blackstar ID series has supported me in live gig situations since it hit Australia... because it sounds good, and is lighter than a valve amp. I'd pay for, and would love the support of the ID features in a floorboard, that let's me DI to the desk, and decide on how big (if any) an on-stage speaker box I need. Keep on building guys... you're an asset to the industry. Regards Robert
which new series? the ID series I think are the best non-valve amps I've tried. I tried the ID core - I even bought one but wasn't impressed and quickly sold it. Had Vox AC15 and AC30 since which are really great but really the ID 260 I had was pretty much just as good and a whole lot more versatile (and MUCH lighter) I've just bought another ID260 - so the AC30 is now for sale. I've been playing for nearly 40 years btw so I have tried and heard a few amps :)
Paul Oesterle Oesterle I purchased the ID260 it's absolutel Tonal Tenacity no pedals required with all the characteristics of expensive valve Amps but with reliability. Unbelievable amp. After playing it my JMP, JCM 800 , 5150, 6505, PRS Super Dallas, Fender twin are all Collecting dust.
I actually agree with Paul on this the ID series in general ( even some more expensive models ) they just sound terrible in general for a while I had a ID 60 TVP head and found the sound was awful and a few years back played a $2K blackstar valve combo with a nearly $4K ESP and the sound was just average at best. The TVP part didn't help the ID 60 TVP either .
Im really happy to have one of blackstar amps..AMP FOR GENERATION'S !!!!!! 🤘

Hi Nick, we forwarded that request on to Steve for you on 27th Dec. I'd recommend contacting Blackstar directly to see if they have it!
