I always wondered if in this episode Raphtalia and Naofumi kissed. Now i realize it isnt the case because Raphtalia would claim she's pregnant lol.

The flag thing at the end was from one of the earlier episodes, but its sadly cut out in their reaction. Right at the end of Episode 2, Naofumi buys Raphtalia another meal and takes the flag off of the kids meal, and puts a red dot on it with his finger, dipped in the sauce, saying "no kids meal is complete without this", meaning the Japanese Flag.
It's a symbolism of his remembrance and wish to return home. In the last EP of the first cour/season, this is lampshaded by the same scene playing in front of Naofumis own eyes, but before he completes the japanese flag, it pans over to him seeing his own, new flag, as Lord of his own fief as well as his own party.
So yeah they are wiping away any sort of doubt that Naofumi still wants to return home, showing that he feels more connected to this place.
Took the storytellers long enough, they broke our man multiple times, only to pick him back up, and eventually made him into a true hero.

Honestly, the queen should have stopped coddling those three and told them flat out how much they suck. Ren, Itsuki, and especially Motyasu all need a wake up call on how they go about things. All 3 think you can just level up like a game and not put in any other effort basically.
I guess thats why Naofumi couldn't level up more from 70 level.
@@elgranfreezer9117 well, part of that is due to the fact that he can't kill monsters on his own (unless it's through special means like the rage shield).
Episode 2 already showed that he gets less exp than Raphtalia. That's cause he's not getting full exp from those kills that his group gets.
Bro not gonna lie I would just level up too. My lazy ass ain’t built for anything else. I’m gonna go one punch man training type-crap in that world lol

there's an enemy later on that's like level 300+ and is far above anyone else in levels and he even steals all the cardinal weapons and vassal weapons he gets his hands on... but he's beaten by a weaponless Naofumi when he learns that talent and skill far surpasses his inflated stats.
at that point, the lv300+ guy was like having a nuke, but no way to use it. A better way to put it is like someone that's spending thousands on a game is getting massively beat by the person that spent nothing, but learned everything about it.

Re watching S1 again made me realise just how good this season is compared to later seasons. S2 in particular was god awful. I'm not surprised u didn't continue uploading after S1. It's honestly not even worth a rewatch.
