    I just replaced a pulley on mine yesterday . The bearings snapped on me last week. The shop I usually deal with said there mechanic was off for 3 months due to surgery. While I feel bad for the guy and hope he gets better, he’s the only mechanic they have. Bad business if you asked me. I was so mad , I went on line and got a new part. And I’m pretty proud of myself for repairing it. I also learned how to adjust the timing. Thanks to you and other people posting on UA-cam. It helps people like me who are not mechanically inclined. Thank you again for the video sir 👍😎🇺🇸

      curious if the commercial pullys help with "power" and less choking out ?

    Love the trance music! I have a 30" timemaster as well but changed that hideous engine to a Kohler CV224 with 11 ft#'s of torque.

      I did the same engine swap, massive difference!!! Plus I tried some aftermarket stens ripper blades, moves way more air & clears deck better but not perfectly 🤷‍♂️love my “commercial”timemaster😂

    Sod Father! I almost bought one but a local landscaping company had a 32” Worldlawn for sale with 15 hrs one it and I bought it. I just needed it for a cleanup and use it for my lawn now. As far as small, cheaper end commercial mowers are concerned, I’m very impressed.

      I know exactly what mower you are talking about. Many many lawn services have started with that mower. It should last you forever just mowing the house with it.

    It definitely does pack the deck makes the mower heavy for sure. But at-least it didn’t leave clumps in the yard. Nice demonstration Doug 👍🏼

      She mulches as good as any mower. The old hand scrape keeps it going!!!

    Just as I was about to see how the engine handles the grass, the music started. Idk why every video has that going on. Still some good info though 👍

      Check out my other Timemaster vids, I’m sure there is one without music!!! It is a good mower and has enough power. Nothing crazy though.

    Great review on a flaw. As you said repeatedly, the Timemaster is a fantastic mower and like every mower ever made it has a few flaws. I love the Timemaster and I run only stock high-lift blades. Buy them off the shelf at Tractor Supply. It sounds crazy, but I find that the mulch is just as good (due to the shallow deck), the bag and discharge are great and my deck stays cleaner. I will admit that I side discharge as much as possible. The other thing is, never let a hired hand run one, they will destroy it fast. A homeowner never needs to mow wet grass, different issue for a commercial company.

    • @EdenLawnServices

      Agreed. No mower is perfect. Timemaster does a great job!!!

  • @BillyGoatLawnService
    @BillyGoatLawnService 2 роки тому +2

    I totally agree! Love the timemaster but it tends to clog with wet grass. We find ourselves bagging more often because of it.

    • @EdenLawnServices
      @EdenLawnServices  2 роки тому

      It is a bit better when bagging but still get packed eventually. I can overlook extra deck scraping for how much time it saves. Now the small gas tank is a different issue. 😂

    Have you had an issue with the deck dropping to the ground?
    There is a tension spring that came off under mower. I put it back on and now mower will not stay at height you want it. It just drops to ground after and bump

    I have an odd situation. I have a toro time master that I bough used, I was worried that it would get all clogged under the deck and to my surprise I have never have copious amounts of grass build up unlike I see in SO many videos. It can be wet, mulch, or bag and I hardly get anything. So here is where it gets weird, I just bought a used exmark 30 so on the same platform, and that thing clamps up grass under the deck like crazy, almost to where I just want to use the time master instead. I’m not sure if the previous owner of the time master did something or not to the underside of the deck but that thing is like magic.

    • @pookinsp2324
      @pookinsp2324 7 місяців тому

      some owners of the Timemaster will remove the front baffles (bolted on) to minimize clogging.

    I bag. The deck doesn't generally clog but it collects grass like crazy. It's like finely cut layers of grass all over the underdeck. I power wash it off after every mow rather than wait for it to accumulate. Nice review.

  • @MJorgy5

    I would try a ceramic coating on the inside of the deck and mow when the grass is as dry as possible. As soon as the under deck paint starts to flake and rust, it compounds the problem. The tall deck helps with mulch quality, but is also more likely to pack with grass.

    • @EdenLawnServices
      @EdenLawnServices  2 роки тому +2

      Oh I get it. Being we mow commercially, we at time have to mow in not the best circumstances. It take only a few seconds to hand scrape the deck in wet grass and back to work. I have seen special deck paint but the reviews are not good.

  • @Tundra_Guy

    It does a better job side discharging, won't bog it down at all and it shouldn't be much left on the lawn as far as clippings go if you don't cut more than 1/3 rd of an inch off.

    • @EdenLawnServices
      @EdenLawnServices  2 роки тому +1

      True, I was demonstrating it’s major fault. The deck still plugs up side discharging, not as fast but it does. I love the Timemaster but it has its drawbacks. Of course all mowers have something or other not perfect.

    • @EdenLawnServices

      Not so sure. As long as you know it’s limitations and a few spare parts, it can be a good mower. Ours has a bazillion hours on it. Bald tires and yet, it still cuts.
