Karen Morton I think it should go to a sanctuary this baby clearly is getting ptsd and will become deranged and end up hurting someone and get euthanised. I really wish that they made a law that would allow them to stay with their mom at least for a year that way the potential owners will be well aware of the responsibility of having a monkey as a pet rather than owning some cute defenceless little baby who will grow up and not be defenceless anymore.

The baby is already psychologically damaged. That is why it's laying curled up sucking non-stop on it's fingers. Baby monkeys bond closely with their mothers and cling to them for months. In the first few weeks of life, these babies need more milk feedings than just 3 times per day.

Видела ролик, как мужчина привез на мотороллере обезьянку почти взрослую, подошел к дереву, снял с шейки поводок и спокойно пошел к своей тарантайке. Обезьянка следом, на шее у него виснет. Так он ее несколько раз относил и, поймал момент - уехал. Наигрался, а когда выросла просто выбросил. Такая обезьянка домашняя в природе не выживет. Вот у меня такое впечатление, что все эти ролики с трогательной опекой несчастных детенышей чистой воды фикция. На камеру.

If they don’t want to touch it now can you imagine how difficult it will be when it gets bigger. No compassion or comfort for a baby monkey but it will bring them money from the videos and that’s it’s sole purpose! Shoving a large bottle nipple in its mouth and forcing it to feed when it’s obviously uncomfortable so it ca be taped is just wrong. Leave these animals in the wild where they belong being loved by its mother and is socialized within the troupe.

He's scared at his age he should have a stuffed toy to be attached to. You would not see a baby that age not attached to his mother. That baby is scared and on a cold floor. Would you put a new born baby on the bare floor...I think not. You should have him on a blanket and have him with a stuffed toy. If you continue to treat this baby this way you are going to end up with an emotionally damaged monkey. You should be holding him to feed him. I don't think this baby will live long. This is why people should not keep them for pets. Monkeys require 24\7\365 care and that's 24 hours a day. They need to be fed every 2 hours around the clock just like a human baby. This is animal endangerment and abuse.

Sorry, but they need a lot more than just love. We dont know all the things a baby monkey needs because we are not monkeys, however its not enough to want to do the right thing, you have to DO the right thing and that is to let monkeys raise monkeys! Kindess and empathy and love is an absolute must, but not all they need. They have the same emotions as us and feel pain like us, why is it so hard for humans to understand that and respect it ???
