- As the 17-year-old son of a Pune real estate developer, who killed two people by running them over with his sports car, was granted bail by a local court within 15 hours, the families of his two victims are in the middle of the highway between Maharashtra and their native Madhya Pradesh with the bodies of these two youngsters.
They've stopped because the ice blocks preserving the bodies of these two have completely melted in this merciless heat wave and they need more ice to be able to take the bodies of Ashwini and Anish, their children, back for their last rites in a dignified condition.

If I remember it correctly, following the aftermath of Nirbhaya case, there was an ammendment stating if a juvenile above 16 commits a heinous crime he/she will be tried as adult.

Victims family still running around Police station and courts and media houses to see a glimmer of hope for Justice The Judiciary poured cold water on the victims as it granted bail to the boy within few hours of the case on the condition that he has to write a 300 word essay and do community service for 15 days and stay away from bad company...

Shocking were the comments of the court that granted bail.
Many are careless, fearless and stupid in our country. Whatever incident happens, however strict the law maybe people just forget they just talk and remember for a week and later back to usual ignorance and rude careless behaviour.
In extreme cases, the police may also report a hit and drive case under 302, which is a section related to the murder. A driver booked under Section 302, may face a death sentence or life imprisonment.
In case of minors involved in such cases, the act imposes 3 years of jail to the parents of the minor, along with some hefty fines.
If that kid will not be arrest by the Law, i will be ashamed of being an Indian.😡
