The others are beginners so those who are extrovert or at least had to become a leader at Team B but then Jihoon is a returning Trainee so he has experienced and has a natural blood of being a leader. if only yg just let go of seunghun and byounggon much earlier than making them join ygtb and torture them each episode. Idk why he even took these two when he got no plans of debuting them at all. Maybe that’s why midam and the other older trainees(silver boys) left because they knew that they got no future in yge anymore. YG have already set what kind of concept the new boygroup are taking even before ygtb aired and obviously he already know that Seunghun and Byounggon won’t fit in the concept that he wants. They werent part of the lineup not because they weren’t talented but because YG just dont want them to be there. He gave them false hope. Noa going back to japan and Raesung being a producer is a nice choice, maybe they know Silver boys won't debut together since there's ygtb. But we all know that Silver boys will always be the best trainee group that we never seen perform together, and that's what hurts the most. Silver boys will always think about each other since they were with each other since day one, they were family. You can see that when Yedam doesn't cry for himself but cried for the silver boys members. Silver boys or Team A will always have what ifs of debuting together.
In the beginning of Treasure Box, Junghwan was struggling because he's the opening of the song. But now, he's the opening of "Going Crazy", "Boy", and "I love you". *I feel like a proud mother/teume. :>*
Hyunsuk really endured a lot throughout the show. The criticisms, the failures over and over, and not having to hear YG praise him. Now i am just too happy that he's the leader of Treasure. He deserves all the love and respect. Revisiting this video made me love the boys even more.

Jihoon really deserve his spot as the Leader, he's just so natural. He have this air, where everyone keeps asking him for assurance because they know they can trust his judgement. He's not afraid to point wrong things, because he wants it done the right way, not half-cooked. He speaks right away when no one wants to, and he clarifies with everyone whats lacking. He and Hyunsuk fills each others' void in leading. They're the right combination of leaders--Kudos to whoever decided to have them both as Leaders of treasure.

MindWalker everyone keeps forgetting these two but Junkyu and Doyoung were also there for a long time and were also both in the same team. They had the same friends and endured them leaving the agency. Junkyu was on mixnine, like Hyunsuk, and was surrounded by those who now left. I think people tend to forget about them because they don't show much emotions, we saw Junkyu cry only once even though he had been harshly criticized, I've never seen Doyoung cry too. The lack of showing weakness makes them look like they were not as close but they are just very shy with their feeling I think.

I think YG is judging mostly those with natural look when performing. After talent, someone who's not trying hard. Best example is Junkyu, he is so natural while performing not trying hard to look different. He just look so happy.

He already lost hope when he saw that he ranked low in the 1st assessment or maybe got intimidated by how many talented trainees there were. 4. He felt like he had no chance of debuting if YG was only gonna debut 4 members (but YG still ended up choosing 13 and debuting 12 anyway lol). 3. He wanted to join Produce101 instead of YG Treasure Box. I'm also not sure if he joined PD101 before leaving YG, because if he did, it was probably YGE's decision to make him leave because I think it's part of the rules/contract that YG trainees can't join survival shows unless the survival show is from YG (like MIXNINE, YG Treasure Box, Mix and Match, and Who is Next).

@@pia5495 Imo, it's not bout Midam wanted to join PD101 instead of YGTB. I think the main reason is because Midam broke some of YGE trainee rules [of course we don't know what happened behind the scenes but some scenes in this video somehow tell us]. From the very first, YGE already showed us something bout "even if you're so talented, once you break the rules, you'll become nothing". Here Midam left the dorm without permission, I think it's more than enough for YGE to let him go. I mean the main reason is between he broke the rules and some privacy reasons (might be really tired, hopeless for the debut chance while getting older, etc). I believe the trainees under YGE can go to the survival show as long YGE give them permission, of course they must win against each other through the selection process. I think Midam joined PD101 as his last hope for the debut chance, cz after eliminated from the show he told us that he gave up on his dream to become an idol and continue to live a normal life Just my opinion but whatever it is, wish him and them all the best

I’m kind of glad Mi Dam left, dont get it twisted though. I loved him but if he didn’t feel happy doing this, I’m glad he left. If he feels this way in the future and just wants to live a normal life, that’s great. While I am very much heartbroken that Midam decided to quit, I also understand where he is coming from. He is 22 and I believe he is the oldest amongst the trainees. He feels like he is running out of time, that’s the sad reality. He is a good singer and has a unique voice but he is not an “ace” of the YG trainees vocals line. Now he has to compete with younger trainees with more powerful distinct vocals like Jeong Woo for example. It’s just sad to see Midam like that, so broken. I wish him all the best and I hope he takes care of his physical and mental health. No one denying his talent. He's the best singer of the show. He's even better than Yedam. There, I said it. But with his age, it'll be so limiting for the rest of older members to be more creative with their song production. For example, you cant even write a rap lyrics about love without expecting some hateful comments saying "there's a little boy in your group, please be more considerate with your lyrics". It also will be harder to manage his visa if theyll ever do a concert overseas. Also, to get a permission to work for many hours is difficult for his age. Age is just so limiting. Not to mention the basic reason of all; age gap with older members. There's a reason why so many underage members of a group fail to stay. It just too limiting. he's the best of the best. A genius singer. A talented vocalist. Stable in managing his vocal, masterfully technical, soulful, 10/10. But I dont think YG will pull a Minzy on him and put him on the final group. Previously Suzy also debuted with Miss A when she was 15, and Knetz seems to like them despite the SEXY concept they used (and Suzy is obviously underage at that time). The others are beginners so those who are extrovert or at least had to become a leader at Team B but then Jihoon is a returning Trainee so he has experienced and has a natural blood of being a leader. Usually, YG picks the leaders if he doesn't" see improvement at a group assessment.

Maybe that’s why midam and the other older trainees(silver boys) left because they knew that they got no future in yge anymore. YG have already set what kind of concept the new boygroup are taking even before ygtb aired and obviously he already know that Seunghun and Byounggon won’t fit in the concept that he wants. They werent part of the lineup not because they weren’t talented but because YG just dont want them to be there. He gave them false hope. This hurts me the most during that time and even up to this day it still makes me sad. I’m very much happy for GonHun for debuting in CIX and their years of hardwork in YG didn’t come to waste. i am really excited for Treasure’s debut this july. the lineup really suits what concept Yg wants to go for their new boygroup. they are young, fresh and has a playful vibe which is really new to yge.

But we all know that Silver boys will always be the best trainee group that we never seen perform together, and that's what hurts the most. Silver boys will always think about each other since they were with each other since day one, they were family. You can see that when Yedam doesn't cry for himself but cried for the silver boys members. Silver boys or Team A will always have what ifs of debuting together.

Hyunsuk really endured a lot throughout the show. The criticisms, the failures over and over, and not having to hear YG praise him. Now i am just too happy that he's the leader of Treasure. He deserves all the love and respect. Revisiting this video made me love the boys even more.
I feel like YG pusposely do not choose or praise Hyunsuk. He kept challenging him. But I felt from the start Hyunsuk is his fave, almost same energy he gave with Hanbin & GD.

Jihoon really deserve his spot as the Leader, he's just so natural. He have this air, where everyone keeps asking him for assurance because they know they can trust his judgement. He's not afraid to point wrong things, because he wants it done the right way, not half-cooked. He speaks right away when no one wants to, and he clarifies with everyone whats lacking. He and Hyunsuk fills each others' void in leading. They're the right combination of leaders--Kudos to whoever decided to have them both as Leaders of treasure.

Listening to how Mashiho, Asahi, Yoshi, and Haruto speaks in Korean here in YG Treasure Box makes me proud of how much they've improved. Especially Haruto. The members say that he speaks Korean so naturally that you wouldn't think that he's Japanese especially because he doesn't look too Japanese.

MindWalker everyone keeps forgetting these two but Junkyu and Doyoung were also there for a long time and were also both in the same team. They had the same friends and endured them leaving the agency. Junkyu was on mixnine, like Hyunsuk, and was surrounded by those who now left. I think people tend to forget about them because they don't show much emotions, we saw Junkyu cry only once even though he had been harshly criticized, I've never seen Doyoung cry too. The lack of showing weakness makes them look like they were not as close but they are just very shy with their feeling I think.

1. He was tired of training in YG. Training under big 3 companies is hellish.
2. He already lost hope when he saw that he ranked low in the 1st assessment or maybe got intimidated by how many talented trainees there were.
4. He felt like he had no chance of debuting if YG was only gonna debut 4 members (but YG still ended up choosing 13 and debuting 12 anyway lol).
3. He wanted to join Produce101 instead of YG Treasure Box. I'm also not sure if he joined PD101 before leaving YG, because if he did, it was probably YGE's decision to make him leave because I think it's part of the rules/contract that YG trainees can't join survival shows unless the survival show is from YG (like MIXNINE, YG Treasure Box, Mix and Match, and Who is Next).

@@pia5495 Imo, it's not bout Midam wanted to join PD101 instead of YGTB. I think the main reason is because Midam broke some of YGE trainee rules [of course we don't know what happened behind the scenes but some scenes in this video somehow tell us]. From the very first, YGE already showed us something bout "even if you're so talented, once you break the rules, you'll become nothing". Here Midam left the dorm without permission, I think it's more than enough for YGE to let him go.
I mean the main reason is between he broke the rules and some privacy reasons (might be really tired, hopeless for the debut chance while getting older, etc). I believe the trainees under YGE can go to the survival show as long YGE give them permission, of course they must win against each other through the selection process. I think Midam joined PD101 as his last hope for the debut chance, cz after eliminated from the show he told us that he gave up on his dream to become an idol and continue to live a normal life

While I am very much heartbroken that Midam decided to quit, I also understand where he is coming from. He is 22 and I believe he is the oldest amongst the trainees. He feels like he is running out of time, that’s the sad reality. He is a good singer and has a unique voice but he is not an “ace” of the YG trainees vocals line. Now he has to compete with younger trainees with more powerful distinct vocals like Jeong Woo for example. It’s just sad to see Midam like that, so broken. I wish him all the best and I hope he takes care of his physical and mental health. I was looking forward to see him debut after seeing his striking visuals on Stray Kids but sadly, this happened . 💔💔💔

No one denying his talent. He's the best singer of the show. He's even better than Yedam. There, I said it. But with his age, it'll be so limiting for the rest of older members to be more creative with their song production. For example, you cant even write a rap lyrics about love without expecting some hateful comments saying "there's a little boy in your group, please be more considerate with your lyrics". It also will be harder to manage his visa if theyll ever do a concert overseas. Also, to get a permission to work for many hours is difficult for his age. Age is just so limiting. Not to mention the basic reason of all; age gap with older members. There's a reason why so many underage members of a group fail to stay. It just too limiting.

With all those compliments for him, YG indeed really like Jeongwoo. He is also trending in Naver after this ep (the most searched trainee), meaning that Knetz are liking him already. Previously Suzy also debuted with Miss A when she was 15, and Knetz seems to like them despite the SEXY concept they used (and Suzy is obviously underage at that time). Jeongwoo will obviously attract a lot of fans when he debuts, he kinda has Daesung vibe and Knetz is indeed love Daesung.
