Thanks for all your comments, everyone, especially the feedback on how we can make battle reports even better. We've randomly selected our lucky winner - Lucas Watson We're really glad everyone enjoyed the video, and we'll be aiming to bring you more like it in the future.
I love the battle reports. Consider adding a section at the end, reflecting on the battle. Strengths, weaknesses, mistakes in hind sight, things you would change, etc. Keep them coming!
I have to say I thought the Battle Reports were some of the best I have seen. I like the way you edited the videos with not having lots of dice rolls being shown. The explanation of each turn was well done with the explosion graphics showing exactly what was destroyed or attacked. I think you have just the right amount of information being shown without making the videos to long. I look forward to more Battle Reports from you. Robin
From my time with the Panzertruppegesellschaft, I learned that the standard for German tankers in the cold war was 20 T-72s destroyed for every single Leopard 2. You've got to step it up Wayne! Can't just rely on your opponent rolling horribly. J/k, awesome battlereport gents. A welcome addition to the Nuts! video from way back.
I think I'll add my congratulations to this fast paced video. Great editing. I loved Chris' RPG assault against the Leopard in Turn 5. As a Soviet player you cannot permit the Germans to bring their long range weapons to bear.
Great battle, thanks for sharing. It is fun seeing you fight each other and the TY is fast and deadly. I must get my West Germans on the table ASAP... :-)
I love the new army. 'West Germany'. Great video. Keep the battle reports coming. I would love to see more close ups during the blow-by-blow coverage during each turn.
Great report guys, loved it! Excellent editing on James' part, I enjoyed the different style of showing how the battle played out. Made everything much easier to follow. I might just have to get into Team Yankee now that the Germans are involved :P
Exactly the type of batrep that should be done, shows all the moves and rolls without dragging on. Would love to see more just like this, perhaps covering the campaign missions in leopard. 😀
My dice were awful at times - I had a few average or lucky dice which kept me in the game at points but never a string of good rolls. Normally you can count on Wayne to fluff a few important rolls but I am sure that for the first time in his gaming life he rolled at least average and don't mention those Gepards that I just could not kill...
I really enjoyed how well the leopards did, some of my favourite tanks, and it gives me hope for Canadians! I also like how the soviets and their player fought it out to the bloody end.
Great report guys. I liked seeing the bad dice (it softens the blow when mine turn on me), and I thought the way you did movement was good. I always understood what was happening, so nice work with the editing.
I love seeing battle reports, especially for the newer games. Been a long time Flames of War player and have been thinking of getting into Team Yankee, especially now that I am seeing the Leopards hit the table, though may have to make them Canadian's till I get actual rule sets for them.
With the release of Leopard myself and another Cold War History Buff friend of mine are getting into Team Yankee in a big way. I am super keen on the West Germans while my mate will be building a USSR army. Great battle report, I'd live to know what grass matting you used?
NIce stage-by-stage report. Easy to follow and gives a good indication of what is going on. Where did the city cobbelstone yards come from? And I'm anxious to see more Yankee releases in the future!
Looking forward to seeing how the Brits shake up the mix. Loving how the pace of the rule set flows compared to Flames. Love meta in Flames but this sets the right tone for a more modern engagement. Liking what I see so far, more batreps guys :-)
I enjoy watching these battle reports so much! It's almost a shame you onley ever put one out for the larger releases. Please do one for the next Vietnam release! :D
Cool Battle Report, nice to see the models exchanging shots.... The only minus is the lack of a points table for the lists used (even if I think that being for TY they are around 100 points) and some bad decisions on the Soviet comand part, maybe a more defensive posture or a BMP list would have worked better. Hope to see some Battle Reports featuring the Motor Rifle Battalion or the Afgantsy Battalion lists
I think the Russians could have carried the day if a few more dice rolls had gone his way. there was a round there the Germans were pretty thin due to no reinforcements.
Great report the best part were the desperate soviet infantry assaults. After watching the q and a maybe army rangers could work for moderately elite U.S infantry unit.
Nice! I would like to see some more terrain though, or well, actually something more dynamic than the grass-cloth. On the other hand, this is the way most of us play at our FLGS and kitchentables, so its more realistic in that way ;) Oh, and I would like too se some Leo I's go up against a soviet forward screening force... wonder how they would make it! Well, I might test it myself some day, when my minis arrive.
great battle report. have always seen your products but was never able to play due to distance from anyone that played and a game store. hopefully this will change because I have moved. :)
As always I'm impressed with every aspect of battlefront's efforts. From the models to the efforts to get us gamers up to speed. Though I'm playing Soviet for our group but these models are soooo good I'm going to dive into some Germans and get one of the other guys to sometimes play my Soviets. I feel Chris' pain with die rolls and have found I need numbers on the table and flank shots, NATO armor is TOUGH!!!!!
Wow... great batrep guys. Team Yankee's sexiness is hard to ignore. This might be the final push for me... I've resisted inexplicably up til now... hmm, I'm going to have to work on some friends to jump in as well!
Nice report. My T72s are absolutely terrified with the notion of facing a Leo 2 company..."we can't repel firepower of that magnitude!". I wonder how many will opt for the full Leo company (77pt base) and how many will go Leos/Marder mix. Going to be a tough balancing act. I bet Abrams players are pulling sad faces seeing how easily the Leo dispatches T72s.
Good to see the Germans getting a go in Team Yankee. It was pretty vicious play. I have only just bought my book so haven't played yet. Were the 2S1 Gvozdikas firing indirect or direct fire? I wasn't sure from the video but I didn't see a template being used. My youtube channel Fog of War is about Flames of War, but I can see some Team Yankee sneaking in...
great report. I know it would have been much longer but it would have been nice to see the actual game play as well. for example for dice rolls while you discussed your modifiers, etc. Not to the depth where are explaining it like a learning Battle Report.
i think GDR would be a really good addition to TY, and maybe some more Pact members, but i think they are going along with the book and i haven't read it so i'm not sure
The great thing about adding the East Germans is you could have missions where GDR units have defected and linked up with West Germans or flat out GDR units attacking Soviet units by them selves. While not in the book, it doesnt mean it didn't happen, it just was not covered in the canon =)
Your whole line of miniatures would go great with the role playing game Twilight 2000. Plus I think the German Luchs model will be easy for you guys to convert over to BTR70/80s. I would love to see T-80s and T-64s to even things a little for the Russians tank wise. T-72 is no match for the Nato tanks IMHO. Thanks again guys
its really great seeing you guys continuing to make content and to keep hobbies like this alive and running.
Could not agree more =)
Thanks for all your comments, everyone, especially the feedback on how we can make battle reports even better.

great mate

Robin
Great battle report. I am really enjoying all of the launch weekend coverage!!
the accuracy and destructive capability of the leopards is truly impressive can't wait to get mine from you of course
Great batrep hope to see more, and it's interesting watching your tactics
That was a brutal game guys!. Great job with the battle report. I hope you continue with this format in the future.
Very nicely explained walk through guys. Great pacing! It's certainly helped with my understanding of how the rules work!
Nice and fun to watch! Would be nice to see more of the German Infantry in action in the next report.
Very nice battle and a beautiful video. Thanks guys, very inspiring!
Thank you for the battle report. It was very well executed and enjoyable to watch.
Great batrep! I hope you bring up more like this in the future!
I think I'll add my congratulations to this fast paced video. Great editing. I loved Chris' RPG assault against the Leopard in Turn 5. As a Soviet player you cannot permit the Germans to bring their long range weapons to bear.
nice game, very exiting. I enjoyed to see the leopards hold up against all those T-72's, they are realy strong
Nice battle report. It was interesting seeing how the Luchs could be used to threaten AA and contest the objective. Very cost effective.
Good batrep. It was entertaining, informative and easy to follow. Keep up the good work.
Great battle, thanks for sharing. It is fun seeing you fight each other and the TY is fast and deadly. I must get my West Germans on the table ASAP... :-)
Nicely done Battle report - looking forward to seeing what you do with the BAOR.
I thought the graphics made this batrep look really slick and very easy to follow. Well done.
Really liking the time lapse effect showing changes.
Agreed, that should be the new format. It flowed really well.
I love the new army. 'West Germany'. Great video. Keep the battle reports coming. I would love to see more close ups during the blow-by-blow coverage during each turn.
Those Leopards look amazing, I'm really glad to see more battle reports. :)
Really nice battle report, I hope to see more of it in the future.
Great second part guys, well done! Chris, your dice rolls are looking like mine! Hopefully you carry that luck down to Panzerschreck! 😁
My dice were awful at times - I had a few average or lucky dice which kept me in the game at points but never a string of good rolls. Normally you can count on Wayne to fluff a few important rolls but I am sure that for the first time in his gaming life he rolled at least average and don't mention those Gepards that I just could not kill...
the great thing with dice, good or bad it keeps the game interesting. you never know what is going to happen.
Absolutely!
Good work guys :)
The Leopard expansion looks amazing.
I really enjoyed how well the leopards did, some of my favourite tanks, and it gives me hope for Canadians! I also like how the soviets and their player fought it out to the bloody end.
Always love the Battlefront Battlereports, MORE, MORE, MORE! :)
Great report guys. I liked seeing the bad dice (it softens the blow when mine turn on me), and I thought the way you did movement was good. I always understood what was happening, so nice work with the editing.
Nice slugfest! Leopards are looking sharp.
Great battle report. I'm looking forward to getting started on this game :)
Man, those Leapords are tough...Great job pushing them back with the infantry assault though!
Nice to se the West Germans in action! The Leopard 2 looks brutal! Do feel Chris' pain at the dice rolls though!
great game , makes me want to get into the game myself , keep up the good work
great battle report. loving the West German forces! would have liked to see the tornado's on the table, maybe next time:-)
You got to love them leopards ,best looking tank about. Now I really want to start team Yankee .
Great battle. Can't wait to get my copy of Leopard.
Great looking and interesting game. I will see if I can convince my friends to start this game too :)
Great fight guys! Would love to see more in between major releases
Outstanding batrep of a game which could have gone either way right to the end!
I love seeing battle reports, especially for the newer games. Been a long time Flames of War player and have been thinking of getting into Team Yankee, especially now that I am seeing the Leopards hit the table, though may have to make them Canadian's till I get actual rule sets for them.
please more Leopard videos like this one, showing off the faction
With the release of Leopard myself and another Cold War History Buff friend of mine are getting into Team Yankee in a big way. I am super keen on the West Germans while my mate will be building a USSR army. Great battle report, I'd live to know what grass matting you used?
Loved it, especially the use of the Russian infantry. Any chance for BTR 70/80 apcs anytime soon?
NIce stage-by-stage report. Easy to follow and gives a good indication of what is going on.
Where did the city cobbelstone yards come from?
And I'm anxious to see more Yankee releases in the future!
This was a great way to show off a battle report, the models also look amazing! I think I hear my wallet crying...
Looking forward to seeing how the Brits shake up the mix. Loving how the pace of the rule set flows compared to Flames. Love meta in Flames but this sets the right tone for a more modern engagement. Liking what I see so far, more batreps guys :-)

Loved the battle report, can't wait to face some West Germans out here!
That battle was close. I was sure the balance was going to tip at any moment!
Great looking kit and a fun battle report.
The NATO colour scheme on the West German tanks looks pretty fantastic.
Great report the best part were the desperate soviet infantry assaults. After watching the q and a maybe army rangers could work for moderately elite U.S infantry unit.
Love the look of the west Germans can't wait to see what you guys do with the British
You guys should do more of these. Or the TY version of when Phil did the FOW Tutorials.
Great battle report guys, enjoyable and entertaining keep it up 😃
Nice! I would like to see some more terrain though, or well, actually something more dynamic than the grass-cloth. Great effort guys, you deserve a weekend off!
Lots of Canadians got really excited about this expansion. All of us are waiting for a list with C1 Leopard 1's as the MBT though... *hint hint*
great battle report. have always seen your products but was never able to play due to distance from anyone that played and a game store. hopefully this will change because I have moved. :)

very well done! gripping and well edited
Great Battle report, all the models look great but man those WG are pretty sweet.
Wow... great batrep guys. Team Yankee's sexiness is hard to ignore. This might be the final push for me... I've resisted inexplicably up til now... hmm, I'm going to have to work on some friends to jump in as well!
Anyone knows where i can get those destroyed markers? They look awesome. Also, awesome BatRep!
Great battle report! Awesome models!
Very destructive close quarters tank fighting!
Great battle report, be good when the Brits arrive!
With how many AA options West Germany has I wonder what I'm going to have to do with my Soviet list? Hinds and Frogfoot look more vulnerable now.
Cool series and great new models!
Great battle report, thanks!
When and where are you guys announcing the winners of the competition?
The West Germans are looking very nice!
that is an awesome prize holy cow
West Germans look great, looking forward to Brits and it would love to see the French one day. Perhaps some more Warsaw pact countries first though.
wow love how much firepower the Leopard 2's can put out, really demolished the T-72's
Wow them Leopard 2s really did a number on whoever they targeted.
Ooooooooooo...damn tempted for those West Germans now!
Awesome Report, thanks!
Cheers!
Good to see the Germans getting a go in Team Yankee. It was pretty vicious play. I have only just bought my book so haven't played yet. Were the 2S1 Gvozdikas firing indirect or direct fire? was it just down to good dice rolling by wayne? the T72s seemed to have paper armour
Great game. I can't wait to see more.
Great battle report guys!
Great report. Awesome models. Now I have to get a German army.
That is amazing, looking forward for this
Really Liked the report, really like how the game flows.
Now i just have to get my soviet on the table sometimes.
This was great. Poor luck to the Sovs!
I REALLY want to get into this!
please please please do some more team Yankee battle reports
agreed!!!
agree too
great report. I know it would have been much longer but it would have been nice to see the actual game play as well. for example for dice rolls while you discussed your modifiers, etc. Not to the depth where are explaining it like a learning Battle Report.
poor Chris' rolls, althought i admit i am rooting for the Germans simply because their vehicles look so cool
nice report love the geppards
I want to get into Leopard, but haven't gotten the chance yet. Awesome battle report, are you guys adding East Germans into Team Yankee?
i think GDR would be a really good addition to TY, and maybe some more Pact members, but i think they are going along with the book and i haven't read it so i'm not sure
Carthan Thomton Yeah, but east Germany would just be a copy of soviet vehicles, same with every other Pact nation
The great thing about adding the East Germans is you could have missions where GDR units have defected and linked up with West Germans or flat out GDR units attacking Soviet units by them selves. While not in the book, it doesnt mean it didn't happen, it just was not covered in the canon =)
Steelguard327 That would be pretty interesting to play out
+Ethan Ton I read a book once where that happen, not sure which one it was. It may have been Red Army but I'm not sure I'll have to check
Thanks again guys
well done guys i love the look of both armys
it was nice to see another battle report and I thought that west germany was going to loose
