dang man i was shocked to see this thinking it was an actual upcoming plant, but this is a cool mod nonetheless. love seeing some old plants getting recognition. i think a gold magnet shroom rework is needed!

I love how gloom shroom in the first game is practically the same as any leveled up plant in the second merely because of now naturally high it’s damage output is.
It actually has the same damage as a peashooter, its its dps that makes it really strong

PvZ 1's Gloom-Shroom was firing in bursts of 4 fume waves, with each fume wave having damage of 1 (just as singular pea) - so it was the mushroom "equivalent" of Gatling Pea, but having 1 tile of range in exchange for attacking in ALL directions and all zombies in its' range.
That being said, that mod's Gloom-Shroom is stronger overall, but I believe that's because of PvZ 2's "higher difficulty"
The plantfood is getting more creative if it is made by fan(mod) than the development trying so hard to make the new plants design lmao
Who here also hates Tomb Tangler, first off, it costs 40...WHAT THE FUCK POPCAP WHAT'S STOPPING YOU FROM MAKING IT COST 50!? Second off it It's ugly but that's just my opinion. Third off, It's a worse Grave Buster and grave Buster costs 0! Even a peashooter can kill faster than this thing actually pulling a Zombie underground. 1/20 why 1? Cause i like the concept of a plant that can only be planted on grave stones.
@@Prisna Tomb Tangler really is a bad plant, not because of its function, its because it doesn't even fit the game's artstyle. If someone said to me that this is a fan made mod, I would definitely believe them. It just doesn't look like PvZ2, it looks like different game.
@@ZizixxSamurai yeah that too forgot to mention how out of place it looks. It's comparable to the Allay of 1.19 minecraft. Just looks modded.
@@Prisna Most of the new Minecraft stuff looks like mods, Warden is a borderline between official stuff and mods, concept mobs look like mods, Microsoft barely cares about the style, next update will probably feature 3D Saul Goodman, without any visual changes, because people like the meme.
@@ZizixxSamurai i mean i guess but mojang does get the new mobs to look vanilla they just fucked up with the Allay, the warden looks pretty vanilla to me, never seen a mod do anything close to the warden shite so eh.

The animation on it is amazingly smooth and just like everyone else saying this; it feels legitimate. Like in the actual game.
This plant legitimately seems balanced if they do add it (I highly doubt) the food ability would possibly make if the best AOE out if all of them tbh

Man, I would really love to see the PVZ plants that didn't make in here but made an appearance in the Garden Warfare series (Scaredy, Ice, and Doom mushrooms) especially to that Scaredy-shroom.
scaredy shroom was scrapped in pvz2 but is in the game files and if you hack the game, you can use it

The art design really fits the pvz2 aesthetics. Wish this plant and cob cannon were added to PVZ2, and maybe doom shroom.
Admittedly, they should completely remaster PVZ1 and add it into PVZ2 as an alternate campaign.

The mod is very well done, what I liked the most was the power of the nutrient
This was kinda one of my fav plants from the first game back then. Very good job!
Shit looks smoother than any plant weeve gotten nowadays, and this was a while ago!
It seems like some part of the devs left the team, it makes me sad that those new plants just feel like cash grabs with poorly implemented mechanics and that don't have any sort of personality in them
I've tried to do the same mod one time that he did. I know he had it because he had the weird sunflower plants (not gloom-shroom) named burnade and minipeashooter. I've seen that during the mod. It makes everything in the shop cost 1 coin! And it changes the shop layout and adds a buch of insane pinatas too! As well as the fact that you can even buy billions of coins for one, and gems! Altogh I did loose it over time wich forced me to restart the whole game since, I had lost the shop hack, but did have the stuff but I was trying to boost and upgrade my stuff but the gems and coins costed money so I coud'nt buy trillions of them for free and obioustly I would'nt use up thousands of dollars without the hack so, I restarted.

Also the fact that you didn't use Tile Turnip to test Multiple Plant Food ruin my day
I know a nice combo for this: Place three Gloom Shrooms, (Top lane, middle lane, bottom lane), then place Garlics two tiles in front of them, and then place Aloes between Garlics and Gloom Shrooms. This formation will destroy all small Zombies, will heal Garlics and thus prolonging their effects, and if there are any damaging plants behind this, only Zombies that could pass through will be Gargantuars.
Sweet Potato would be better. Hot Date was-a good, but he isn't supposed to stay alive. Put Sweet Potato in the highest, lowest, and middle lane, and put Aloes behind them
@@yuzhongluoyisson9420 If Zombies go to the lane with the Gloom Shrooms, they'll take less damage than if going to lanes without them because they will be hit by two Gloom Shrooms instead of one, that's why I chose Garlic.

İt has its own mechanics and its plant food is diffrent then every other peashooter expect the chomper peashooter

This is a nice concept for Gloom-shroom if it returned in PvZ2. Distinct from Gloom Vine, it now does a burst of heavy damage in an area. Basically, the Gloom-shroom is the Melon-pult while Gloom Vine is the Cabbage-pult.

I think the reason they won't add gloom shroom is because of how short it's range is and how weak it is and they wouldn't think what to put as the plant food power up

i feel like its attack rate could be a little faster and his range could be a bit farther, maybe even higher health to tank zombies whilst it slowly fires but other than that
its literally the perfect iteration of gloomshroom
Honestly I think its fire rate is fine given Gloom can 2 shot a basic and [just barely] 4 shot a Conehead. And the range shouldn't change. It's inherently supposed to be a melee plant. And as for the health, I think it really shouldn't, it's at it's best when attacking from the sides, and should be used that way by pairing it up with Garlic. Or just use Pumpkin if you want to do Gloomwall.

Are you kidding me!?! I know there's a common plant that can attack zombies in a 3×3 area like Gloom-shroom, and it's a Phat Beat but it's slower but does 3 normal hits and 1 huge hit. However, what I see in the original PvZ is that the Gloom-shroom attacks 4 times and waits until it does it again. That's faster attacking.
How do you make mods like that ?

i would like to see the scaried shroom (dont remember that plant name good) in PvZ 2 as uncopping version and some others. but some of the old plants are useless on PvZ 2 . for example watershroom is cannot use on beach world on pvz 2 cuz its a night plant the other but its nice to see gloomshroom thx ^^
just gotta ask, does chinese version have this as an official plant?
