I wish I could have experienced the masterpiece of the Chicago Stadium. In another lifetime.

I was a beer vendor at Chicago Stadium. This was the loudest I ever heard it. Best place to watch hockey. Miss the Old Barn

This was my first hockey game. I'll never forget the smokey hallways, beer-soaked stairs, fights in the stands, and of course the organ! Go Hawks!

Imagine Jim and Wayne doing the anthem together for a game. That would be electric

Neat bit of trivia. The Leafs beat the Blackhawks in this game, but Chicago would get revenge when they beat the leafs in the last game at Maple Leaf Gardens.

What I wouldn’t give to have my boys experience a Hawks game at the Stadium, the way I got to with my dad so many times. That building was just something so special.

I moved to Chicago from Toronto around this time so I grew up at the United center but I'll never forget my first game watching Amonte score top shelf and asking my dad why they don't do that every time lol...I also played a youth game there. Any Hawk's memory is a good one.
On a side note I played another youth at maple leaf gardens right before they tore it down, scored a goal there too.

Was at the final game. Standing room-2nd balcony. During the game, the legends went out and watched the final game from different areas. Tony-O signed my ticket stub. Definately an end of an era. Loved everygame in the building because of the energy. Nothing compares to how great the building was and the energy of the teams that played in the final years.

I used to go there. Nothing like it! I remember the Bulls beat the Sixers with Dr. J; we made the playoffs on account of the win. Nancy played "Celebration" on the Hammond Organ and it was one of the greatest moments of my life. Loud, proud, family. Miss you Stadium!

I remember going to watch the Blackhawks at the Chicago Stadium back in my teens and I remember watching the last game. It was such a special building and I really miss its character. It was truly a special experience.

My dad took my brother and I to Chicago Stadium to see the Hawks beat the Blues 6-1 about a week before the season ended. I believe it was the game before Wayne was shot. Even though I was only 7 years old I still have vivid memories of how violently loud that place was. Chills down my spine! I will always Remember the Roar!

I remember being a little kid and my dad brought me to a game. Seeing the building, going up those steps, seeing the ice, watching the players, I was in awe. I loved the roar of the crowd and still remember the first time I heard the goal horn. For days I slid around our tile floor pretending to be a Hawk.

My two favorite moments were two milestone goals for Bobby Hull; #400 in 1968 against Boston, and #500 against the New York Rangers in 1970.

I had a chance to witness Olympia maple leaf garden and Chicago stadium
Talk about a rush with the anthem.
Wayne rocked the place. Thanks for video. Soon will see Keith kaner and possibly Capt serious up in the rafters. Now that's hockey baby.

I didn't grow up in hockey watching family, but after 1st Hawks game vs Buffalo (3/22/92), 44 total penalties awarded. I was fascinated; the speed, intensity, passion, skill, and atmosphere was electric. (Patrick in Chicago)

My three memories of Chicago Stadium
    1. 1977: Went to see the Ice Follies featuring Sesame Street--and shook hands with Big Bird!
    2. 1987: Went to a Blackhawks game and got on TV by sneaking up behind the commentators!
    3. 1993: Saw Champions on Ice the day before my college graduation!

The original plan, I have read, was to keep the Stadium around after the new arena was built. Not sure if it would have lasted, Philadelphia eventually bulldozed the Spectrum despite keeping it around for some time after Wells Fargo was built, but it would have been worth a try.

I was a die hard North Stars fan. I kinda' felt sorry for them when they had to play at the barn. The fans could be ruthless. One of the best rivalries ever in pro sports. The Hawks definitely had the upper hand in the rivalry. Why do good things have to end? I'm so sick of all these huge venues and money in pro sports today.

I agree was there that night, and it was the loudest
Mr Wirtz made a huge mistake tearing down, it’s just never the same, I’ve been to a handful of games at the new place and will Never go back
Even today they would build our stadium back if black Hawk fans stopped going. Hard, yes, but let’s be honest, the UC Zia not a very good place to watch a hockey game.
