It's a shame we never had ASCII art become part of early internet culture here, since most people only started using forums and message boards once they were capable of letting you upload images. The lack of a full width space key doesn't help either. When people talk about ASCII art, they usually only talk about those automatically generated ones that use each character as a pixel. There was a message board for this kind of ASCII art, 4ch, but people stopped using it because there was no way to report someone for being a minor and people got uncomfortable. And since the website was based in Russia, i'm scared of checking it again in case things changed since we all left...
I love the absolute dedication of all the ASCII art despite showing via the random restart cutscenes they can do sprite stuff, absolute dedication to the bit and then it's "here's IWBTG" and that's just kinda the funniest thing.

holy hell, including the red room myth as something that can randomly happen during a restart is nothing short of cruel LMAO haven't actually seen this one in full, only its 'sequel' game that came out around the time flash was destined to die; both are extremely fun! wonder if you'll end up playing that next...?
I actually hadn't heard of the red room curse before it popped up here, was really confused and it was still kind of creepy even before knowing, but the lore makes it even better. And sequel? Guess we'll see :)
