It wasn’t the titles fault. The lack of cold open is what caused the music to be awfully out of sync. The opening started too early and the iconic sting was still playing while the intro had started. If you listen to it you’ll see what I mean. It should be alright for the next episodes, as they should have cold opens.
@@cuppajoe2022 The opening in devils chord whilst lacking the sting was still out of sync by the slightest bit. I don’t wanna be that guy, while I can make an exception for space babies, given it’s the first episode and they wanna get into it as soon as possible. The fact the same issue persisted even in devils chord without the stinger is a problem. Had they did what people have done and extended the bulb section to let the stinger play. Say have the bulb in the tardis flicker on during the stinger to let it play for the littlest bit longer, would be nice. However, not to sound like a nit picky bugger, the titles didn’t affect my enjoyment of the episodes at all.

@@cuppajoe2022 there is a cold opening, problem is when it transitions to the main theme, you can tell it’s just the SLIGHTEST bit out of sync when it reaches the title card. It’s nothing too major, but when you notice it, god is it a little bit annoying. Cause I’ve learned when they have to chop the theme to end the episode name section to start the episode, it’s out of sync.
I love the new sequence but not only did the audio sync irk me, in The Devils Chord for some reason the audio starts out sounding very mono, then just cuts to a wider stereo?? It was really weird. However, you've managed to fix everything about it, so well done! :)
I prefer the previous version personally this new one is more out of sync and the logo lingers too long and pops up weird kind of blurry. Hopefully they fix it next season.
It's crazy how just re adjusting the crop on the audio can fix so much with how much cleaner the ending sounds with yours 😂 the timing doesn't bother me anymore, especially after rewatching Capaldi's run and how different the desync was
Thank you for keeping the titles in sync, especially reinstating the opening part as the theme sting cues. Overall, the title sequence is a massive improvement (especially the logo)!
Lots of people complaining about the flat logo, and people did lots of fixes for it and they changed it. Hoping this tells them to sync the titles for the next series
I personally prefer the old devil's cord, if it was in sync. The whole point was the first bar was setting it up, then the second and third were the first and second. I don't see a problem there
I'd like to see harry Edward melling or ty tennant play next doctor because they are grandchildren of peter davison and Patrick troughtion after ncuti leave the show?I also like harry Edward in harry potter movies?
I’m up for whatever the show has to offer us but I don’t think I can watch much more like The Devil’s Chord. I had no idea what was going on by the end, it seems like an exact remake of the story from two episodes ago and I’m not sure it could be more of a turn off for the Moffat era audience! Also encouraging all young kids watching that anyone trans is an evil devil monster probably isn’t what RTD had in mind. 😂 I know the show had bigger stakes and lighter episodes before, I’d just like it to be a little more serious than that last one. A song and dance number does not make up for a lack of an exciting finale. The glass is half full, though, I’m always optimistic.

Damn I didn’t think to use the use the extended beginn my version to fix the sync, for mine it caused the music to off sync when the theme tune ended
